Is it just me or is it that last night as I was watching Foxtel Now I got severe buffering on ESPN while trying to watch the NBA Finals replay. I also got buffering on Fox Cricket, Footy Play + (AFL ch7 retransmission) and the channel that had the French Open tennis. Bear in mind I have 54 Mbps fixed wireless service, and I do not have these issues with other streaming services such as Netflix, Youtube, SBS On Demand, ABC iView, 7 Plus etc. I tried re-booting my devices and router but the problem still persists? Anyone know what the problem is?

I reckon it would be a lot of people streaming which would cause the buffer did u take down the quality sometimes that works for me but then again I always use low quality in the Kodi media centre for the app.

I received an email from Foxtel Now offering the sports channels for a discount.

Got that same offer as well. Unless you want to watch Eurosport and/or don’t like going between multiple streaming apps, don’t know why anyone would get the sports package through Foxtel Now when Kayo is a vastly superior product

FOXTEL IS BRINGING THE WORKPLACE HOME

Settle in with your favourite office comedies

Missing your dysfunctional work family while working from home? Foxtel has you covered with a hilarious line-up of the best office comedies available on demand that will bring the workplace to you.

Kicking off today, Foxtel’s BRINGING THE WORKPLACE HOME on demand compilation will feature all your favourite workplace comedies including The Office , Veep , Workaholics , Superstore and Fawlty Towers .

The ultimate workplace comedy and multi-award-winning series, The Office presents a hilarious documentary-style look at the humorous, and sometimes poignant, foolishness that plagues the 9-to-5 world. Based on the award-winning BBC hit, The Office delves into the lives of the workers at Dunder Mifflin, a paper supply company in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Andy Bernard (Ed Helms), the preppy salesman and die-hard Cornell alumni whose endless and unique musical talents keep the office entertained, is the new Dunder Mifflin Scranton manager. Reporting to Andy are the loyal, and often times unmotivated, staff who together create a truly dysfunctional and hilarious workplace setting. All nine seasons are available now on Foxtel.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars in Veep as Vice President of the United States, Selina Meyer, who finds the job is nothing like she expected, but everything her incompetent staff warned her about. The series follows Meyer and her team as they attempt to make their mark and leave a legacy without becoming mired in the day-to-day political games that define American politics. All seven seasons of the hilarious and award-winning comedy series Veep are available now on Foxtel.

Starring Blake Anderson, Adam DeVine and Anders Holm, Workaholics follows Blake, Adam and Ders, three friends who work together as telemarketers from 9 to 5, live together from 5 to 9 and party together 24/7. The three met at college, where Blake and Adam were roommates and Anders was their RA. As they settle into adulthood, they continue to do things associated with college after dropping out (such as drinking, partying, and pranks). The self-proclaimed “friendship family’s” schemes are generally confined to their house in Rancho Cucamonga, California, where they often interact with their drug dealer, and a cubicle they share in the Rancho Cucamonga office of a telemarketing company called TelAmeriCorp, where they clash with their boss and coworkers. All seven seasons are available now on Foxtel.

America Ferrera and Ben Feldman star in the hilarious workplace comedy Superstore , about a unique family of employees at a supersized megastore . Superstore centres around Amy, who recently was promoted to be the store manager and is the glue holding the place together, and Jonah, a dreamer determined to prove work doesn’t have to be boring. Their fellow associates include the sardonic Garrett, the sweet and clueless Cheyenne, and the perpetually dismissed Sandra. Also on the team are Glenn, who stepped down as manager in an attempt to have more family time, and Dina, the aggressive assistant manager who enforces Cloud 9 policy with an iron fist. Mateo was also part of the team, most recently as the self-promoted floor supervisor, until being detained due to his undocumented status.

Once named the greatest ever British TV sitcom, Fawlty Towers is the iconic farcical comedy set in a seaside hotel in Torquay run by Basil and Sybil Fawlty, played by John Cleese and Prunella Scales. The plots centre on the tense, rude and put-upon owner Basil Fawlty, his bossy wife Sybil, the sensible chambermaid Polly, who often is the peacemaker and voice of reason, and the hapless and English-challenged Spanish waiter Manuel, showing their attempts to run the hotel amidst farcical situations and an array of demanding and eccentric guests and tradespeople.

All of Foxtel’s workplace comedies are available to stream for Foxtel subscribers On Demand via internet connected IQ boxes, on smartphones and tablets using the Foxtel GO app, and via Foxtel Now.

Settle in with complete seasons of the world’s greatest comedy classics

For the first time ever, Foxtel has released complete seasons of some of the world’s greatest comedy classics On Demand, with full seasons available to stream from today, Tuesday March 31, on Foxtel NOW.

This unprecedented offering of classic comedy adds to Foxtel’s current slate of incredible content available to watch On Demand, guaranteed to keep viewers entertained as they binge on old favourites or discover something new.

The following hit comedy series are all available to stream On Demand:

Seinfeld

These pretzels are making me thirsty! One of the greatest comedies of all time, Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life’s most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards.

Veep

In this Emmy Award-winning series and worldwide smash-hit, Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars as the Vice President of the United States Selina Meyer, who finds the job is nothing like she expected, but everything her incompetent staff warned her about. Throughout her tenure, she attempts to prevent various political uproars while juggling her public as well as private life.

The Nanny

Beloved comedic actress Fran Drescher stars in The Nanny as Fran Fine, a saleswoman who appears on the doorstep of wealthy widower Maxwell Sheffield’s New York home. Fran unexpectedly gets a job as the nanny for the Broadway producer’s three children and brings her no-nonsense honesty, sharp sense of humour and `Queens logic’ into the Sheffield household.

Parks and Recreation

From the Emmy Award-winning team behind The Office is this hilarious ensemble comedy that follows Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) as a mid-level bureaucrat in the Parks and Recreation Department of Pawnee, Indiana, and her tireless efforts to make her quintessential American town just a little bit more fun. Co-stars include Rob Lowe, Aziz Ansari and Nick Offerman.

30 Rock

The multiple award-winning comedy is told through the voice of Tina Fey as variety show producer Liz Lemon. The series also features Alec Baldwin as top network executive Jack Donaghy and Tracy Morgan as Tracy Jordan, the unpredictable star of Lemon’s hit variety show. Lemon always has her hands full, juggling corporate interference from Donaghy while attempting to salvage her own personal life.

The Office

Starring Steve Carrell, the multi-award-winning US comedy series presents an hilarious documentary-style look at the humorous and sometimes poignant, foolishness that plagues the 9-to-5 world. Based on the BBC hit series of the same name, the show is a fly-on-the-wall “docu-reality” parody of modern American office life, delving in to the lives of the workers at a paper supply company in Pennsylvania.

Broad City

Created by Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, and produced by Amy Poehler, Broad City is an odd-couple comedy about two best friends navigating their 20s in New York City. Abbi and Ilana are broke and flawed, and they don’t shy away from the sticky situations NYC throws at them – they dive right into the muck. No matter how bad it gets, these broads are always down with whatever hits them.

Curb Your Enthusiasm

Larry David stars as…Larry David, living a fictionalised version of himself, as he lives the good life out in Los Angeles and stumbles through one faux-pas after another. Also created by Larry David, the series follows Larry in his life as a semi-retired television writer and producer. Also stars Cheryl Hines, Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman and also features guest stars by celebrities playing fictionalised versions of themselves.

Entourage

Adrian Grenier plays Hollywood up-and-coming film star Vincent Chase, as he learns the ropes of the business and the high-profile world of Hollywood. And he’s not alone: he brings from his native New York his entourage, a close circle of childhood friends, along with his agent. Also stars Jeremy Piven, Kevin Dillon, Kevin Connolly and Jerry Ferrara.

Silicon Valley

Created by Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, the series focuses on five young men who found a startup company in Silicon Valley. And in the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. A comedy partially inspired by Mike Judge’s own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late 1980s.

Ballers

Success hits hard. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in this comedy series as retired football superstar Spencer Strasmore, trying to reinvent himself as a financial manager for current players in sun-soaked Miami. Exploring the lives of former and current football players, the show follows Strasmore as he gets life back on track in retirement.

Barry

The dark comedy stars Bill Hader as a depressed, low-rent hitman from the Midwest. Lonely and dissatisfied in his life, he reluctantly travels to Los Angeles to execute a hit on an aspiring actor. Barry follows his “mark” into an acting class and ends up finding an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the LA theatre scene. Co-stars Henry Winkler, Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Glenn Fleshler and Anthony Carrigan.

All of Foxtel’s comedy classics listed are available to stream for Foxtel subscribers On Demand via internet connected IQ boxes, on smartphones and tablets using the Foxtel GO app, and via Foxtel NOW.
