The Holman Barnes Group (HBG) has reached a heads of agreement with the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) and Total Soccer Growth Holdings (TSG), to be the new operators of the Central Coast Mariners FC women’s team.

The Holman Barnes Group is a NSW-based community, hospitality, and entertainment organisation, with deep connections in sport through their major stake in the Wests Tigers rugby league side, and equity stake in APIA Leichhardt FC to establish Wests APIA FC and strengthen grassroots participation and pathways.

Because HBG are running the Wests Tigers in a successful manner.

The male Mariners owners should have brought the female team as well. Misogynistic wankers.

At least the Jets owners own both teams.

Former Arsenal manager Wenger, FIFA’s chief of global football development, issued a statement saying he was “not involved” in the plan to seek private investment in a company to run the World Cup but that the decision to withdraw it was “absolutely necessary and beyond question”.

Grafstrom, the second most senior figure in the organisation after Infantino, is also understood to have contacted FIFA staff addressing the “sad and reproachable series of events” of the last week “which thankfully concluded with the project being permanently abandoned”.

New tactic - just invade the opponents end with flares and punch on with everyone.

FIFA has apologised for errors made over Gianni Infantino’s failed plan to sell stakes in the World Cup and says that senior staff in attendance at a crisis meeting in Morocco “reaffirmed their full support” for his presidency.

World soccer’s governing body attempted to present a unified front amid the turbulence caused by Infantino’s controversial plans, with calls for him to step down.

FIFA said a letter had been sent to FIFA council and member associations apologising for errors and committed to “ensure they do not happen again”.
