Reports out of the US suggest that Chris Cuomo has been involved in trying to establish a strategy for his under-fire brother, Governor of New York, Andrew.

Chris has apologised and CNN have said that they don’t intend on disciplining him

It wasn’t seen as a political issue during the pandemic. Reckon that’s fair enough.

He’s allowed to have his own career. But it’s a problem for them they’d for sure.

The service, known internally by the working title CNN+, is slated to feature new shows from the network’s major anchors, including Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon, according to people familiar with the matter. Those shows would be separate from the programs hosted by Messrs. Cooper and Lemon on CNN’s TV channel, some of the people said.

When I was watching the CNN coverage of the election they had great chemistry when they were running the overnight portions of the on-going coverage.

In the fallout of the election, I started listening to the audio versions of a few of the CNN primetime shows and they included the banter between Cuomo and Lemon at the end of the Cuomo show. Also, it’s a shame we are now going to be getting exclusive Podcasts tied to either Spotify or Apple to push subs to the respective service.

I wouldn’t put it past CNN to quietly bring him back in 12 months time. Their credibility is already in the toilet anyway.
