It used to be the case before COVID pandemic.

Now they’re able to do it in the press gallery. They’re all locked in to the actual gallery though. And have to hand in their phones and phone lines are cut off.
A lot of organisations leave a journo / crew outside the gallery so they can still report on stuff happening outside.
