Wonder if 10 will pick this up or better yet - fast track it to air it Sundays after Survivor

If they do then they’ll most likely screen it three months later like Graham Norton.

The move follows similar transitions by the BBC in early 2024, ITV during 2023 and 2024, and Channel 4 in late 2024.

The change has little practical impact on viewers. A 2024 estimate by ITV put the number of SD-reliant homes at fewer than 1%.

ITV Good Morning Britain forced off air as emergency evacuation abruptly halts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls show

ITV’s flagship breakfast programme Good Morning Britain was forced off the air 20 minutes ahead of schedule this morning following an emergency evacuation of the studio.

During the broadcast, Ms Reid informed viewers that she could hear an alarm sounding through her earpiece.

The presenter turned to the production team, querying whether she and those appearing on camera were required to take any action in response.

Shortly afterwards, the programme cut away to a commercial break. It was the last viewers would see of the GMB studio that morning, as the show failed to return following the advertisements.

The alarm Ms Reid detected through her earpiece was later confirmed to be a fire alarm that led to the building’s evacuation.

Channel 4 won the TV rights six months ago. It will show the race from this year to 2030.

It’s funny how the fire alarm always goes off during GMB…

Though he only presented the show two days a week (Thursdays and Fridays), and stepped down in February 2024.

Now does This Morning.
