Ash Raper has been doing a great job as well with the rolling coverage. Denham not so much. Maybe he’s collecting the reporting to feed to Chris and Ash. He probably would be better out in the field.
Unfortunately, I could never see Georgie being able to handle something like this.

I agree. I think she’ll be fine reading the news but lacks the experience years of reporting and reading news brings. It’s a shame Chris is being lost to broadcasting. 10 again making the wrong decision regarding who they have let go due to cost cutting.
In saying all of that, 10 have really come to the fore tonight. Demonstrating that they can do rolling coverage exceptionally well.

And trying to read messages of division from the likes of Israel who is known for stirring the pot during this tragic time which is absolutely unnecessary. We don’t need any contribution from some two bit Israeli politicians on something happening here.

I get if ‘After Dark’ programming want to make that argument in the days to come. However, straps like that have no right to be displayed either:
- tonight on the night of a horrific tragedy; and
- during breaking news coverage.

Andrew Bolt repeated what he heard on the abc (he attributed the name to them) but then went on to editorialize about the name being middle eastern and Persian in origin. He disgustingly turned to race and immigration without any foundation or facts.
