540,000 for the premiere was a good start - will pick up a lot in consolidated.
Have seen subsequent episodes and it gets better as the series continues. Episode one is an establishing one for the characters. It lays the groundwork so that as you get to know them, the comedy gets better.

Margie decides to become social media famous and Ryan helps her to go viral, which fills the theatre but piques Caitlen’s interest in The Argyle. A method actor playing Julian Assange goes too deep.
Rehearsals begin chaotically as Margie leads unconventional exercises, alarming Julia, who battles poor ticket sales and schemes to sideline the show while pursuing Margie’s famous sister Caitlen.
Notice that they use font and branding for The Argyle which is near identical to the Melbourne Theatre Company’s.

At the Argyle Theatre, a routine security upgrade goes awry when Julia installs new “smart” door locks ahead of high-profile visits. Instead of improving safety, the technology causes disruptions that ripple through the building.
As staff juggle technical problems, budget pressures and clashing egos, tensions rise behind the scenes. Margie is loudly hinting about a mysterious Hollywood opportunity, Julia chases ambitious plans to boost ticket sales, and unresolved rivalries simmer.
With the theatre buzzing with mishaps and secrets, the day threatens to spin completely out of control.
Episode 3 was laugh out loud hilarious. Less chaotic than the first episode. They seemed to find direction now.
SUNDAY 31 MAY 8.15PM
As The Argyle Theatre unravels, Margie reluctantly agrees to direct. Julia, meanwhile, is consumed by fear when her son Ryan vanishes after being pushed aside.
Old wounds, sibling rivalries and mounting pressure draw Margie and Julia into a volatile fight to keep the show alive.
Episode 5 was the best episode so far.
The comic timing between Kitty Flanagan and Anne Edmonds is brilliant. Also think Will Gibb (who plays Julia’s son Ryan) is a great talent.
