ARN Regional (formerly Grant Broadcasters)

It must have been among the last of the S39 stations to go to air if it only launched in 2000.

The s39 stations in Sale and Warragul both went to air for the first time in 2002. The one in Sale was promoted as an FM conversion for 3TR, when in reality it wasn’t. Just a callsign change to 3GV.

Yeah, those plus Rockhampton/Gladstone and Hamilton/Warrnambool required licence area changes in order to make them eligible for S39 licences because there was too much overlap.

Murray Bridge wasn’t affected by that issue.

As in they’re not putting ads during the show, or promoting the show?

A big day for 4CA. I wonder if they’ll simply network the shift now?

I’ve only just noticed recently that 3BA in Ballarat are now running the “Classic Hits” log, whereas before, they were using the more modern AC log that River 94.9 & Mix 104.9 are still running. According to Lava, the change occurred on Monday 2nd June.

I reckon that’s the right call for Ballarat. 3BA used to always skew a bit older than the other stations, and it’s a better point of difference to 93.5 MMM Bendigo.
