Wouldn’t it make more sense to switch to the national service and march in Canberra? At least that would’ve been slightly more relevant (being a national one) than the Sydney march.

Brisbane is just embarrassing. It looks like they’ve tried to save money by not having a proper link to the OB but using LiveU which relies on 4G. Never works properly wherever there’s a crowd and only designed for on the spot news coverage not continuous broadcast
ABC has really stuffed up this year with the Brisbane mess and Melbourne dropping out.

Adelaide had highlights of the dawn service before the march.
Melbourne is back with acknowledgement of technical issues.

Surely they wouldn’t be using LiveU? A recipe for disaster! I would have thought it would be similar to a sporting coverage using satellite like NEP does? Saying that, it would be somebody like NEP doingthe coverage as ABC Brisbane wouldn’t have their own broadcast facilities anymore.
But they’d probably be doing it on the cheap though.

So far Adelaide hasn’t had any issues.
100%. Absolutely dreadful but not at all surprising that the ABC would default to Sydney and not the national service in Canberra.
No improvement for Brisbane - occasionally you see what the coverage should look like other times the image is just a blur.
Perth issues continue though not as bad as Brisbane
Same with Hobart

Yes, it’s getting worse. My family thought I was streaming the coverage!

For the Melbourne drop out on the ABC the backup generators crashed just a few minutes after they took affect. Took some time for the broadcast crew to them up and working again Also there were delays with media hub getting back on air as well. Not a good look for the outside broadcast contractor.
Ugh oh.. there was an indigenous element to the start of the Anzac service in Gallipoli. Cue the outrage from News Corp. sky news is mobilizing a phalanx of right wing extremists to mount rolling coverage of this culture war nonsense.
Seven garish and innapropriate again. Nine stylish and respectful as usual.
