Very rare to get GC Rebel stations at my location with RDS due to signal level and even frequencies suffering adjacent channel overspill.
Also getting 2MW 104.1 over JJJ.

Following this post, I decided to get a new aerial for my Aldi stereo and Bush radio - but I ended up getting this one…pictures are below.
Turns out it was smaller than I expected. I can still use the antenna, I’ve got smaller radios that I can use it with, but was yours bigger than that one? Anyone got recommendations for bigger aerials?
I think it was this one, with the SMA connector at the bottom
Is there one with the screw in bottom?

Actually the map is showing early Saturday Morning our time so you are partially right. I am hoping to find a replacement SMA part for the TEF at Bunnings because I do not want to buy online during the busy Christmas season.
You might have better luck at Jaycar if you have one near you… might need to buy a couple of different ones to join them up to suit the TEF (if that makes sense).

I will have to drive down the pass or up the Hume to get to a Jaycar. Besides, I have a busy week this week. Knowing the selectivity of the TEF vs the Sony as I have done during the New Caledonia opening a couple of weeks ago. A few of the Auckland/Northland stations would be impossible on the Sony due to Locals being right next to them compared to the TEF’s selectivity where I got 95.0 and 97.4 in that New Caledonia opening next to Power FM and ABC Illawarra respectively.

I do hope to get it before the 22nd when I got away to South East Queensland for a bit of a holiday and hopefully the TEF would have a ride along with me.

Funny you say that, I’ll be on the Gold Coast for Christmas this year from 22nd as well .. fingers crossed for one of those exotic NQ or New Cal catches @TV.Cynic always seems to be getting!

I must admit I didn’t mind it when it came out; ‘Too Bad’ and ‘Never Again’ are probably their best tracks. Nickelback definitely got worse and worse as time went on, however they aren’t unique in this respect. Good Charlotte and Matchbox 20/Rob Thomas are in the same category.
Most of the hate for Nickelback derives from the meme sphere; really they are no worse than your average ‘corporate rock’ band. However tracks like ‘Photograph’ definitely belong in the ‘turd’ category.
