60 MINUTES PRESENTS: OUR HEROES OF PARIS

TUESDAY, AUGUST 13, AT 8.45PM ON CHANNEL 9 & 9NOW

The Olympic Games Paris 2024 has been the most successful ever undertaken by Australia. To celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our 462 Olympic athletes in France, Tara Brown hosts a very special edition of 60 MINUTES on Channel 9 and 9Now on Tuesday at 8.45pm .

60 Minutes Presents: Our Heroes of Paris features extensive post-competition interviews with many of the Aussie titans, as Brown reveals what has driven the athletes to greatness and why the Olympic Games are unlike any other sporting event in the world.

From the triumphs of swimming champs including Ariarne Titmus, Kaylee McKeown and Cam McEvoy to the fairy-tale victories of sisters, Jessica and Noémie Fox; from our world-beating BMX, road racing and velodrome cyclists to Australia’s young skateboarding superstars; our smashing tennis doubles team, pole-vaulting gold medallist, and tactically-brilliant dinghy sailor, Paris 2024 has shown over and over again that when it comes to the Olympics, Australia punches far beyond its weight.

In a series of intimate interviews, Our Heroes of Paris applauds the determination of our athletes and recognises the sacrifices they’ve made to represent their country with such distinction. As Tara Brown finds out, their will to succeed is in fact so formidable, it’s really no surprise Paris 2024 has become Australia’s most successful Olympic Games ever.
