2025 Federal Election - Media Coverage

Dutton’s press conference this morning is a rambling mess.
He won’t give any details or specifics nor say how much electricity will reduce by under his government. “I’m not going to say it will reduce by $275 like Mr Albanese did before the last election”.
When pushed on a figure, he said, “I’ll leave that analysis up to others”. wtf??

No mention at all on 7… just a rambling Dutton being interviewed.

And who in the media is going to push back on this? They still haven’t pushed back on his false claim that power bills have gone up by $1300. There is no evidence of this. It’s a made up figure. He continues to be able to lie with impunity.

He is a disdainful character. Absolutely no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Curious graphic in the ⁦@australian⁩ today. Why is the Greens’ support portrayed as so tiny when proportionally it should be one third the size of the Coalition’s blue? pic.twitter.com/OYK7mq6NvW

Similarly, the wedge showing those who approve of last week’s budget should by rights occupy nearly half the volume of the grey “undecided” section. It’s almost as if it’s deliberate. pic.twitter.com/OSgFPpBuY2

I guess it’s a bit of odd way of doing a pie graph, but the slices are the right size around the circle at least, here’s what Excel produces using those percentages

Having a full circle is the way to best represent it - their way is a distortion - the green pie segment should be half the size of the grey.

It would be deliberate. There’s always an agenda with the Australian. They are the worst news source alongside Sky News
