What makes you think Trump isn’t lying though?
Some regional coverage:
WIN reported on all the Queensland regional results.
Seven’s Sunshine Coast news focused on the two local seats.
In the past I’ve enjoyed these segments, usually when they were somewhat clever and related to a political reference: eg Julie Bishop’s boot or Scomo’s ukulele. However the carnival dunking tank felt juvenile and tacky. The carnival lights and music made it feel very jarring. You could tell the panelists felt uncomfortable. As they stated, these were real people who were losing their jobs on live tv after years of service to the nation
Speaking of.. where was JBish on election night?
At the United Nations Headquarters in New York, meeting the Secretary General and reporting and briefing the UN Security Council on the situation in Myanmar after the earthquake. Julie made a trip there as a special envoy.
David Woiwod and Monique’s Prepoll coverage was election.
Would argue that David and Mon are a stronger duo than Nat and Shirvo
They also need to stop pretending that the displays in their set or the CGI board they insert on screen are some revolutionary election tracking system. IIRC Seven made up some name for their displays last election.
It’s a graphic… just like last year… and every other network…
It was the “screen of dreams”.
Thank god that was retired. Hugh Whitfield also did a much better job at the board than Mark Riley.
Remember the good old days at the national tally room!
Former Liberal party strategist and Guardian Australia podcaster Tony Barry was on the panel on the night and then wrote online:
I’m perplexed by what election broadcast Tony thought he was part of considering the ABC’s coverage definitely did had data, analysis and insights.
And generally what I assume is just a Zoom-style greenscreen-less background?
Forgive me if I have missed it, have scrolled back and can’t see- but did anybody upload the openers from each of the channels, or any montages?
