Obviously both Labor and Liberal will have to agree on postponing the debate on Nine. Rescheduling however could be difficult due to Seven’s debate this Sunday which is branded as “the final showdown”.

I think the TV execs just want the ratings. Hence why the debate might be on later tonight

Certainly a different take given they are unable to actually analyze the numbers as they don’t have the appropriate technology to do so. Will be interesting nonetheless.

At least they’re producing coverage.

They did so in 2019 and 2022 :man_shrugging:

They just use the AEC numbers and will continue to do so. What I mean is they don’t have their own in house election analysis team and modeling that the other networks and Sky have. Antony Green for example uses his own program to do the numbers and Tom Connell does a decent job with using the matched booth analysis over Sky and they can aggregate those numbers using their own tech.

10 will just use the publicly available AEC data.

I think 10 should do it’s Lunchtime bulletin on Election Day to help promote its election broadcast.

Could they seriously not remove that stadium imagery above the desk? Jesus.
What happened to the panels they used to have in front of it to blur it out?

The backdrop bending Ally is hideous the way they’ve just thrown all those logos on the screen.

Channel 9 back at it again with a terribly ugly debate set. The leaders aren’t even looking into the camera.

Graphics looks simple, clean and cute.

Should’ve asked ABC if they could use Parramatta.
