You’re new to Qld though. The top three are fairly prominent. Nicholls was a former leader.
Strange that the main face of your coverage is not local and you just use grabs from him in Canberra.
Yeah true.
So in your opinion is it a good line up?
All pretty well known.
And yes the add mentions the “screen of dreams.”
Ummm… still the worst of the four, but if it was last minute as reported, they did better than I expected.
Rob Borbidge is a former Premier.
Another “unstoppable” thing about Seven News - that screen of dream’s (which they claim is the same tech that CNN uses, even though the final product is very different), and their instance on Mark Riley doing it, despite his previous performances.
Goes to show how much I know about QLD’s political history
Nine has a revised promo that includes their panel and also claims to have the results first - who to believe?
Has the ABC published their full panel other than Cameron Dick and Susan McDonald?
Rob was Nationals premier in coalition with Libs in the late 90s, in between Wayne Goss and Peter Beattie. Only lasted one term.
Joan Sheldon was the Liberal leader at the time, but under the coalition agreement, the nationals leader was premier.
Since then Lawrence Springborg, now Goondiwindi mayor, merged the two parties in Queensland. Which is why you have the LNP in Queensland.
Tim Nicholls is also one of the most senior and currently serving LNP MPs. He was a former leader, he is the member for Clayfield, a prominent and wealthy inner city seat in Brisbane.
Jonathan S is a prominent Greens politician in Brisbane, and ran for mayor of Brisbane last year after serving as a councillor.
Yvette is well known, Leanne less so from Labor.

I don’t give a rip if they “have them first” - id rather they be delayed and correct
