It’s a rabble, but it does show that Albanese has some gusto and is prepared to fight back.
It’s pretty much car crash TV and train wreck happening at the same time.

Awful. It’s essentially a simultaneous press conference exclusively to Nine’s “journalists,” with individually tailored questions instead of things that can actually be debated on, and when there’s an actual back and forth it gets too out of hand cause Abo will not moderate.
Deb Knight’s had two appalling questions that are worth calling out, first, the one bringing up and punching down on transgender people and the one peddling the “Kitching was bullied into a heart attack” conspiracy. David Crowe’s been decent.
Give me the Press Club and the ABC any fucking day of the week over this.

It’s such a travesty that the ABC is not involved in any debates when their analysts, correspondents and editors are much more experienced and skilled than anyone in the commercial space.

She allowed the leaders to go at each other for a good few minutes without doing anything when she should have stepped in when it became an unlistenable and unwatchable mess.
Chris Wallace made the same mistake during the first Trump/Biden debate in 2020 and we all know how that debate turned out…
