A common example of bending the truth by news.com.au today, claiming that the ABC was “red-faced” by Scott Morrison refusing to appear on Virginia Trioli’s program on ABC Melbourne this morning but then appearing on AM a few minutes later - now most of us here are well freaking aware that AM and 774 mornings are completely different produced animals in different cities and different departments of the ABC but for the average reader here goes Murdoch once again trying to call it “awkward timing” and all the rest of it.
I don’t normally go on rants on this forum (DX’ing is what brought me to these forums and I love commenting every now and then on various going’s on with that passion and with big format changes) but this crap just riles me up to the wall no end. Quite like politicians complaining about “ABC News bias” when they clearly either haven’t ever listened to Newsradio (the bastion of facts and non-bias in my opinion) or simply negate its existence completely to make a point about RN or ABC metro local stations (once again all completely different beasts)
