Yes I agree with you, but that’s why I said that it was becoming true because an update could still happen like you said.
Yes you’re right it shows it now, just didn’t earlier.
My LG smart monitor still using the good old 10play logo in it’s app form logo.
I’m pretty sure i just saw an ad for HYBPA during FBI at around 10:20 which said something about “Stream on 10”
That’s been doing that a few times now
So they dropped 10play but now need to use more words to explain: watch + stream free. ![]()
And using the “+” is not going to be confusing at all. ![]()
Thats exactly what i thought with the +.
Are they suggesting i should watch +, as in 10 News +? Or are they using the + as 10+ instead of 10play.
Ohnin this instance + means “and/&”
Rebranding should be clear, clever and confusing ![]()
It’s really not that confusing or complicated in my opinion…
Well the branding worked for you, but 2 other people noticed the mess, so, so will others who arent on forums
At the very least they should change it to: watch and stream free.
I now see why in the states, they brand their own catch up services.
NBC = Peacock, ABC = Hulu.
Guess it makes it easier to tell viewers where to go, without telling them where to go.
End of the day we’re a small market and less is best. 10 seem to be heading in the right direction!
Peacock and Hulu are their streaming services. Like 9 has Stan and 10 has Paramount.
NBC has a separate NBC app for catch up of their network shows, as do ABC and CBS.
I don’t think regular viewers are going to see “watch + stream free” and think the plus is pointing to a different brand or an entirely different program that has “+” in the name. They’re going to read it as “watch and stream free”, because the plus symbol has been used as a substitute for “and” quite widely advertising and design.
I think we’re more likely to overthink it compared to the average viewers considering we’re on this forum ![]()
Wonder if it’ll be appropriate to rename this thread to “10 Watch + Stream Free” on Monday ![]()
Or 10.com.au (formerly 10play)
End narration: “8.30 Thursday on 10 or stream it right now.”
