Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Nine’s Q2 2016 line-up looks to be stronger than the current one. Does anyone know why The Hunt has been pushed back to Q2?
Nine will probably show The Voice on Sundays and Mondays, and Reno Rumble on Tuesday-Thursday nights. However, with 18 NRL matches on Thursday nights this year, it will be hard for the network to schedule on Wednesday and Thursday nights. If RR were to be shown on Thursdays it would have to be after the NRL in Sydney and Brisbane (meaning a 9.45pm start) and in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth at 7.30pm.
Another question is: will The Voice take on MasterChef right from its first week? Last year MC took full advantage of the battle between RR and House Rules and pulled 1 million viewers nearly every night. The Voice eventually started on June 28 and pulled 1.63 million viewers against MC. If The Voice starts in May it may get 1.8-1.9 million preventing MC from repeating its ratings success.
My one wish is that the Logies will be shown live nationwide this year, not just on the east coast. In the US, the Primetime Emmy Awards is shown live on the west coast, meaning it starts at 5.30pm and finish at around 8.30pm.

The Hunt - a new series from BBC Worldwide telecast for the first time in crystal clear HD.

From Wednesday 2 March at 7.30pm - must have been waiting for NBN HD to start :grinning:

Similar to last week, some last minute schedule changes from Nine

Monday 22 February
09:50PM Who Do You Think You Are? (JK Rowling) and Flash Families out of schedule
Replaced by movie Dear John (2010)

Wednesday 24 February
08:30 PM The Embassy; Fugitive: Black Ops and The Farmer Wants A Wife Rpt out of schedule

So looks like The Embassy may have been axed; at least from its high profile timeslot.

Good to see Nine finally coming to their senses by running 60 Minutes at 7pm. Hopefully that move pays off.

As for that Nairobi: Terror in The Mall thing, didn’t Nine make an Inside Story episode out of that?

Looks like The Embassy’s run on Sunday is also gone. Such a shame, I quite like the show!

UPdate to schedule:

Wednesday 2 March

Old:
AFL States
08:30 PM Gravity (2013)
10:30 PM Fugitive: Black Ops
11:30 PM The Footy Show (NRL)

Changed to:
Melbourne and Adelaide
08:30 pm Titanic

Perth
08:30 PM Gravity (2013)
10:30 PM Fugitive: Black Ops

The Footy Show (NRL) moved to 11.45pm on Thursday nights in AFL states.

So Nine gets to show Titanic (starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet) after screenings on Seven and maybe Ten. That movie must have been on the open market.
And what a silly move to move the NRL Footy Show back to Thursdays in AFL states. It is scheduled for Wednesdays this year to act as a preview to Thursday night NRL. Now this means the show will air after the NRL match has finished!

Another last minute change to Nine’s schedule

Tuesday 1 March
09:15 PM The movie Horrible Bosses replaced by Crocodile Dundee

The show is coming back at least according to advance schedules.

Thankfully I’m gonna watch the Season Premiere of The NRL Footy Show Live Through Streaming of TCN 9 Sydney.

I Bet Many AFL Fans in Brisbane will be watching The AFL Footy Show Stream through GTV 9 Melbourne.

I think rugby league fans in AFL states will try to watch the NRL Footy Show through the TCN9 stream on Wednesday.

Agree and the Producers of that Show Have Gotta Edit the Show for those Living outside New South Wales and Queensland as some segments such as Kick or Grab and the Community Switchboard and they apply to Those States. But Family-Friendly Small Talk Remains all Across Australia.

Not if they have any taste they won’t…

Change to next Tuesday - Crocodile Dundee II replaced by My Big Fat Greek Wedding after Crocodile Dundee’s poor performance this week, no doubt.
