Yeah, we’re pretty tough with our clothing in the north. It was 6°C in some areas of Townsville on the morning that news update was recorded.
I was at an event a few years ago in Central QLD where it was about 2°C with frost and some people were still only wearing shorts!
I’m not tough, I’m rugged up in a thick jacket and a scarf, but I’m nice and cosy
My understanding was that they moved to Fyshwick in late 2015. The site at Kingston was sold in late 2016, and was going to be combined with the adjacent site for an residential development.

The WIN News sign on that building looks rather reminiscent of the logo coverups used on Nine News during the later years of WIN’s affiliation with them! 
Even their new signage is using the updated WIN News logo seen on the news watermark, promos and social media. What is so difficult with getting new openers made in the style of their promos? That, and CHL are the only Nine elements remaining on WIN News, nearly a full year after the affiliation change!

Hahahaha. I grew up in Canberra. I had to wear shorts to school (part of the uniform) in temperatures barely above 0. Basically, there is no such thing as “cold” in Qld as far as a Canberran is concerned.

Some sharp promos doing the rounds for the NSW Budget. They could very easily repurpose the end title card with local images for bulletin openers.

They surprisingly do an okay job from a graphics perspective obviously borrowing a similar look to Ten’s refreshed look, that 2-way cross could do with some locations above the presenter & journalist or guest.
Why are they still using the nine style opener and theme??
