Nine had a very easy win in week 9, more than 8 points clear of Seven.
Nine won all markets except Perth that was won by Seven as well as winning the key demo groups. Seven ranked second in 25-54 and 10 was second in 16-39.
Overall, only one program topped one million viewers for the week while key demo results were down across the networks.
Seven slipped to its lowest share of 2021 while ABC outrated 10 in network and main chanel shares.
Married At First Sight blitz the VPM ratings up from last year’s record numbers.

Looks like more people are catching up on MAFS via 9Now rather than watching them on TV at night.

Compared with the corresponding week last year (week 6, also the final of Australian Open men’s singles and first week of MAFS), network shares of Seven and Nine were slightly lower, ABC and 10 were higher while SBS was steady.

Nine had another win thanks to the Australian Open Men’s Final, MAFS. However, the Men’s singles final rated lower than last year (Novak Djokovic-Dominic Thiem)

Wow, ep 1 already over 300k! Incredible digital numbers. Wonder if this already helps make up for the slightly lower broadcast rating?

Sure does! Without 9Now, MAFS would crack the 1 million mark. But I guess the “magic million” is hard to get now since FTA TV is declining each year.
