The biggest Bathurst 1000 audience since 2016 gave Seven a narrow win at the start of the week that saw the network come out on top for its 24th weekly win of the year. Across the week, Nine posted the highest broadcast TV share, but 7Plus did well enough to boost Seven’s Total People share for the win. Nine, won the key national demos as well as the 5-city metro market.

The Block’s Sunday edition was the top program of the week while Seven News Sunday (after adjustment for the Bathurst 45 minute overrun) ranked second. Nine News won the Monday to Friday news ratings. Bathurst slotted in third.

Seven’s top reality show was My Kitchen Rules raking 13th and 14th ahead of The Voice’s 16th place. Seven’s dramas Home and Away and RFDS were the best for the week while Bump on Nine was 64th. ABC’s British drama Beyond Paradise did well for a Saturday show to make the top 30 and be ABC’s top non news or factual program. Gogglebox was 10’s top show of the week in 36th place.

7’s weakest aspect for majority of the year has helped them win this week. Although I will say that 7plus has definitely improved as the year went on

From 10

Week 42.

  • Isuzu UTE A-Leagues: Reached 332,000 on 10.

  • Sam Pang Tonight Launch: Reached 964,000 total viewers, #1 in its timeslot in 25 to 54s.

  • Celebrity Traitors UK: 10’s #2 streaming show of the week.

  • Nickelodeon: Fastest growing commercial TV channel. Up 11% in prime time, year to-date.

Can do no wrong with their powerful primetime slate.

Movie, Friends, 3x TBBT on weeknights. Encores of 10’s primetime on weekends.

Surely resonating with the target audience.
