Nine won its first national ratings in seven weeks with a clean sweep of total people and key demos nationally and in the metro market. Nine topped 30% with its best share since July. ABC improved by one, 10 edged slightly higher with Seven down two and SBS also lower. In the 5-city race, Nine has hit the 20 weeks won milestone in the 40-week survey.

Nine’s week was bookended by big wins thanks to sport with the NRL Second Preliminary Final on Sunday giving prime time a big boost with 1.764 million. That saw Nine News that followed become the highest rated bulletin of the year. On Saturday The Bledisloe Cup test match with almost 900k gave the network another easy win.
Meanwhile all episodes of The Block made the top 10 with two episodes of My Kitchen Rules in the top 15 while The Vice was 19th.

60 Minutes was the top public affairs program while Tipping Point maintained its winning position at 5pm.
Home and Away was the top scripted show of the week while the return of FFDS ranked 23rd. Have You Been Paying Attention? made the top 30 for 10 with Gogglebox later in the week 35th. Hard Quiz was ABC’s top entertainment title in 35th place.

The NRL Final topped 400k to be the most popular BVOD program and the number one entry in 25-54. Nine filled the nine places in the top 10 of 25-54.

I would’ve thought with big wins on Sunday and Saturday, 9 would’ve been way ahead of 7. And 7 won in BVOD.
