Nine had its first win in seven weeks with the State of Origin Game 1 posting the year’s highest rated show so far. The Women’s State of Origin third game also made the top 20 with next best sports result from Seven’s Friday night AFL coverage.
With Nine topping 50% on Wednesday, Seven’s best result came on Friday with ABC and SBS best on Saturday as Monday continued to give 10 its highest share of the week.
The 1% Club was the week’s top entertainment show and the only one over one million with Home and away next best just outside the top 10. Then followed Have You Been paying Attention? in 21st place ahead of three MasterChef episodes. The One Hundred also made the top 30 for Nine.
Seven News had the number one news bulletin on every night of the week while 60 Minutes was ahead of 7News Spotlight on Sunday. Tipping Point had its highest weekly rating ever and ranked 16th.
In the BVOD table the State of Origin posted the highest BVOD audience of all time topping 1.5 million.
Quite amazing that, despite Nine’s SOO, Seven were just 0.2% from them (in TV) share.
Perhaps highlights a lot of viewing shift to streaming now, as well as Nine’s weakness post Married outside of NRL and in some markets like Sa, Wa, regional Vic and Tas.
