Nine has its third consecutive overnight win to finish 3 clear of Seven. Nine was down one and Seven down 2 on the previous week with the extra viewers switching to 10 that was up 3.

Nine won all markets except Perth that went Seven’s way (as usual). Nine won the key demos groups as well with Seven a comparatively distant third.

The Block was an easy timeslot winner despite dropping more than 100,000 from the previous week and 130,000 from Tuesday. Following Paramedics was also a timeslot winner for Nine.

10’s Mirror, Mirror was competitive at 7.30pm including good demo numbers delivering the second highest ratings for a Todd Sampson special ever on 10 - best since October 2016.

Seven’s line-up took a tumble with Nurses down 20k and RFDS that followed sinking to a season low down +50k week-on-week. The debut of Australia’s Sexiest Traie and Fat Pizza on 7Mates dissapointed in total people in key demos.

ABC’s Question Everything and Rosehaven also down slightly the former to a season low.

Nines gonna win the week is my bet.

The debut of Mirror Mirror did quite well, especially in younger demos.

Mel N > T =S <— 2k separated all three

Decent results for Mirror Mirror I found it fascinating, can’t wait for the second part tonight.

Sunrise still third in both Melbourne and Brisbane. This is a very consistent trend.

Seven winning the whole hour in Brisbane, as well as competition from Seven News Sydney in the first half, seems to have made up for the loss a bit.

To be fair to Nine News Adelaide, I notice they’ve picked up quite a few exclusive stories recently. Only makes sense that more viewers are attracted.

Really difficult to care about RFDS with one depressing disaster followed by another. I didn’t watch last night but have recorded it. No rush to catch up. Burning through with double episodes will probably kill that show.

Silly move to have Fat Pizza and Australia’s Sexiest Tradie on Wednesday too. I remember Seven had better luck with running these types of shows on a Monday night on 7mate. They should have stuck with that. Or maybe Thursday nights when the footy was over to keep those male viewers.

Anyway, I haven’t watched much of Fat Pizza because I feel it’s just repeating all the jokes we saw in Pizza, Swift and Shift and Housos. Didn’t think much of Australia’s Sexiest Tradie either. A good concept but I feel like it was underdone, so it looked a bit cheap and nasty. Probably could have benefited by having someone besides the main actors, creating, producing, directing.

I gave it a chance but I gave up on Question Everything last week. Rosehave has been good but they’re starting to repeat themselves now so probably a good time to end the show after this season.

Even Todd didn’t seem to expect the ratings for Mirror Mirror.

Didn’t see that coming. TONIGHTS final #mirrormirror is my favourite

Seems like quality factual that’s well promoted does well when placed properly in the schedule.

We need 10 to create this type of content for 8:30 slots.

10’s Mirror Mirror did well for this type of factual, and for its 90 minutes duration too. Will see if there’s retention in tonight’s episode.

However, Nurses on Seven didn’t do that well. Paramedics on Nine, with a later timeslot, rated better. RFDS double-episode-run did alright.

Am surprised that Fat Pizza on 7Mate didnt crack the top 20 in the multi’s list.

But as was reported last week, the results of all 3 are fairly close, particularly in those cities. Melb was virtually a 3-way tie yesterday.

7 has really lost all of its momentum and the advantage it built up during the Olympics because of crap programming over the last 2 weeks.

You can bet that they wished they had more episodes of The Voice and SAS filmed. Really if The Block continues to gain momentum it’s because Seven let their guards down and didn’t finish that show off when they had a massive hit in The Voice.

Would’ve been a good night to launch 10’s drama that they held back on, but I guess they weren’t expecting Mirror Mirror to do so well.
