Data © OzTAM Pty Limited 2021. The Data may not be reproduced, published or communicated (electronically or in hard copy) in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of OzTAM. “Overnight” figures include “Live” (programs broadcast during the 2am-2am broadcast day) and “As Live” (programs recorded and then watched within the same broadcast day). “Consolidated” figures include Live, As Live and “Time Shift” (programs recorded and then watched within seven days of the initial broadcast).

Nine recorded its highest Wednesday share of 2021 and was 12 points clear of any competition – not that there was much. Nine was up 2 from last week at the expense of ABC and SBS that lost share.

Married At First Sight had its highest Wednesday audience of this season with 1.1 million tuning in. That followed Nine News and ACA both winning their timeslots. Unfortunately the momentum didn’t follow through to Amazing Grace that dropped to a season low shedding.

For ABC, Hard Quiz was down 90k dropping two places in the rankings but still the second highest entertainment show on offer. Later Fisk was down but a timeslot winner and in the top 10 for the night.

For Seven Highway Patrol improved while 10’s The Cube was steady.

Big result for 10 News Brisbane just 5k behind ABC News.

There was a zero in the Melbourne audience that may explain the 800k drop. Were the Melbourne ratings not recorded by OzTAM?

Wouldn’t Melbourne add an extra 100k to their number?

it was advertised to be airing in Melbourne last night. Maybe a coding error between Nine and OzTAM? There might be a revised figure for that?

The coding error would place it 4k under the project at 7pm.

TV Tonight says it was a coding error and the number would be 135k more than what is says on the number

From Nine: Amzing Grace was 437,000

Does Seven ever release a statement? Or wait… nothing is working for them.

They’ve only released statements for Big Brother and SAS last year.

Guess they’re at least honest compared to Nine who’s the true definition of exaggeration 101 in their statements, using the word ‘dominate’ even when there’s a small margin.

Seven could easily use The Chase and Seven News in their statements but I guess their focus is on post-7.30.

So the cube rates low in total people less than 300,000 , yet it is successful because it’s #2 in its timeslot in under 50s and all key demos?

I’d say it’s more lucky the other networks are low rather than succesful
