Nine won another night comprehensively in total people and key demographic groups. Nine won all markets except Perth that Seven won by 8 points. Seven and 10 tied in 25-54.

10 saw its Wednesday night audience drop 3 share points from the previous week as The Cube shed more than 200,000 viewers from the launch episode.

Married At First Sight was up from the previous Wednesday helping new drama Amazing Grace to an audience just over 500,000.

Seven’s one off Billy Connolly special gave Seven a big boost at 7.30 compared to Ambulance Code Red that missed the top 20 last week.

However, new drama Pembrokeshire Murders was another UK fizzer for Seven with episode one just over 300k and episode 2 outside the top 20 dragging down the network’s key demographic results. 7Mate continues to underperform on a night when it previously was a top rated multi.

Big jump in Seven’s network share (was 21.8% last Wednesday) which largely came at the expense of 10. The Billy Connolly special rated much better than Ambulance: Code Red in the timeslot.

OK start for Amazing Grace, winning its timeslot. Social media reactions have been mostly positive towards the drama.

Ouch for The Cube. I hope 10 sticks with it.

High result for 7flix last night, must be its biggest non weekend share so far in 2021? Can’t work out why though, nothing ranked in total people or key demos.

The Cube needs to move to Thursdays or be on both Wednesday and Thursday. I think then it will gain momentum. It’s kind of feeling lost and forgotten on it’s own on a Wednesday (and up against Hard Quiz) .

I reckon 10 will wait for the ratings of Bondi Rescue and Territory Cops tonight before making its next move. Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Harry and Meghan next Monday gives 10 the best chance to do a minor reshuffle to its 7.30pm line-up.

Exactly what I was gonna say. That way it doesn’t look like panic.

Several Fridays have rated higher.

A big drop from Last weeks episode of The Cube.
Billy Connolly special rated higher than The Cube.

I never understand what this means in Nine’s releases. If you win the game show battle across the East Coast, is not that therefore implied that you won in Syd and Bne, given they are on the East Coast?

Hot Seat won the game show battle across the East Coast, and in Sydney and Brisbane.

It means that the total audience in Syd + Mel + Bris was higher for Hot Seat 5.30pm than The Chase at 5.30 pm. Hot Seat could have won Melbourne by a large margin and lost the other two by small amounts and still won the east coast total.

New Amsterdam given that it’s at 10pm ? I think , hopefully they won’t remove it considering the ratings ?

Its ratings aren’t too bad for 10pm… (similar to the first episode of Bull which airs at 8.30 on 10)

Interesting numbers for The Chase. A tight battle with 10 News First in Brisbane so far this week, pushing the game show to third spot across the hour.

I did say “non weekend” :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s why a weekday was quoted

I always take Friday and Saturday nights in TV to be kind of the ‘weekend’ (not “weeknights”). I’ll rephrase, sorry guys, non-Friday and Saturday

Both Today Extra and The Morning Show tied. A huge switch over from Sunrise to Today Extra since the gap is 70,000
