No Married AFS saw a major shift in fortunes for networks with Seven, 10 and ABC all recording their highest Wednesday shares of the survey while Nine was down 10% from its Wednesday average so far this year. MKR benefited recording its second highest number of this survey and Hard Quiz and Bondi Rescue both recorded season highs as Nine’s spilt schedule flopped.

MKR still below 1 million must be a concern since there’s no competition in sight.

NCIS does very well on 10 Bold. Once they have some new shows for their main channel NCIS can move there permanently.

But on the other hand it has recovered significantly from its season low and with MAFS gone next week could crack the million again.

Just as I predicted yesterday, the million-plus viewers who have been watching every episode of Married at First Sight simply disappeared. MKR only going up by 80,000 from Tuesday will be concerning for Seven, with only around 3 weeks to go in the season.
Very close between Seven News and Nine News in Brisbane with Nine News just nudging ahead. Seven News won the hour in other cities.

Good increase for MKR. Still has life left in it just away from Married. Something fresh is needed to launch the ratings year for 7.

Front Bar just huge in Melbourne. Still good figures in the other to AFL states but just not as strong as they could be. A big drop off from MKR to Front Bar especially in Perth. It is actually quite concerning considering shows like Manhunt in the same timeslot gets an extra 40k on a Tuesday, on a night where MKR is down and Married and Travel Guides is its competition. There is an obvious turn off in those two states. Whether 7 care is another question. I would say the investment they have in those two states they would.

Bondi up against weaker competition. Still not great.

SVU nowhere to be seen. Bring on the repeat next week.

What did Nine have at 7:30. There is huge concerns if this is the figures they are going to dish up after Married ends.

Although it’s apparent that MKR has past its glorious years but there’s still a bit of oxygen in the tank if it doesn’t go against MAFS. But I don’t have an answer for Seven in terms of what they should put up against MAFS.

And the same goes to Nine - without MAFS, they have lost a bit of edge. It will be very interesting to observe the next phase of ratings period:)

Although I do agree with what you are saying, didn’t Ten offer a point of difference ? And look how that has turned out?

That Bold share is getting dangerously close to the main channel number. Can’t wait to see how Bev and Paul spin it the day Bold overtakes Ten.

10Bold was the number 2 multichannel in the 25-54 demo group. 10Bold’s audience in that demo was 7 times 7Two’s.

In the 16-39 demo it was the number 3 multichannel - it had 14 times the audience share of 7Two.

Home & Away seems to have had a bit of a resurgence- 2nd in timeslot & not that far behind ACA. Doing OK in demos as well.
The Project - no comment.

Ten will forevermore be 4th. They seem happy to dig that ditch to die in.
