Wednesday was a big night for 10 recording the network’s equal highest Wednesday share since January 2017. 10 had the highest rated primary channel but with the addition of multichannels Seven won the night with 26.5% ahead of 10’s 25.6% and Nine on 24.2%.

10 won in Melbourne, Nine won Brisbane with Seven ahead in the other markets. 10 was dominant in the key demographic groups. In 16-39, the network was 14 points clear of second placed Seven.

MasterChef was the top entertainment show recording its biggest audience in four weeks while the final of Secrets She Keeps recorded the series’ biggest audience with 550,000.

Britain’s Got Talent on Seven at 7.30 and Paramedics at 8.30 on Nine were down from last week while Nine’s 7.30 factual Who’s Who In The Zoo improved.

10’s gain was largely at the expense of public broadcasters with ABC posting its lowest Wednesday share since February as The Weekly and Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery were well down on recent results. The Bodyguard was down 80,000 from last week.

Is that someone’s error (either coding or your template transfer) with:

There was only three eps on 7mate?

Id say its combined with 7Flix airings.

10 had a great night thanks to MasterChef and the final episode of The Secrets She Keeps. The latter even reached the top 5 in 16-39 demo.
Nine News won in Melbourne after trailing Seven News on Monday and Tuesday.

How great that the secrets she keeps grew every week like that

Fantastic result for secret she keeps. It just continued to grow every week.

Absolutely!

The news ratings in Melbourne are so weird. Last night Seven clearly won and tonight Nine had a nice lead again.

Big numbers for the morning broadcast of Bluey and it’s not even a new episode.

Was such a good series, I really enjoyed it and kept me hooked each week.

Great to see The Secrets She Keeps end on a high. Just goes to show that the networks need to let some shows find their feet and give more shows a chance past week 1 or 2 weeks.

I wonder if the disappearance of Jane Bunn had anything to do with it, as I said? Either that or the sensationalist promo broadcast on 9News nationwide hooked viewers in.

Anyway, with the disappearance of The Voice, MC regained up to 1M viewers, with an especially high audience in Melbourne.
Should be noted Seven News in Brisbane is catching up to Nine News Queensland (at 6:30 the gap really narrows!) @spw68

You know when in 2020 The Simpsons makes the Top 20 in total people (although multi-channels) that viewers were channel surfing for alternatives (outside MasterChef’s runaway win of course).

Or does it mean that there were not enough programs on the main channel rating well enough to make the top 20 so a new episode of a series on 7mate beat them?

It ranked 20th out of the multichannels. There were plenty of other main channel programs ahead of it - most program on the commercials.

The program ranked 72nd overall.

Hardly. No one would have known she wasn’t on til Mitch said she wasn’t around for a couple of days half way into the bulletin.

Good numbers for Secret she Keeps. I haven’t watched it yet but the promos are very well done and would’ve no doubt attracted new viewers.

Britain’s Got Talent does a decent job at keeping Seven somewhat afloat earlier in the night. Maybe if Seven replicates their format and up the production values in Australia’s Got Talent in the next season then maybe that show will stand a chance at rating well. Viewers seem to crave family-friendly entertainment at this time.

Taronga’s ratings (in number) is consistent and would’ve been acceptable for Saturday nights, but it’s very mediocre for weeknights and it’s also affected Paramedics’ ratings in a bad way.

Perfectly demonstrated with Lego Master’s success for 2 seasons now.
On that topic, where’s Little Big Shots?

If he said that though, couldn’t that affect Seven Melbourne’s ratings for the next few days?
