10 took a hit with the main channel slipping below 10% as Bondi Rescue took over the 7.30 timeslot. ABC gained 1 point while Nine was up 2. Nine won all markets except Perth. The network’s best market was Sydney where it was 13 points clear of its nearest competitor that was ABC.

News numbers remained high across all networks while Married At First Sight reached a season high but still only ranked fifth for the night. Nine News closed in on Seven News and was the number one program in east coast markets. Seven and Nine’s bulletins were their highest weekday audience.

ABC News reached 1,000,000 for the first time in several years to win the 7pm timeslot in total people. A Current affair wasn’t far behind with 940,000 its best number so far in this crisis.

Bondi Rescue managed 452,000. That compared to last season’s final episode that had 342,000 and the season 14 premiere that had 318,000.

The Front Bar ranked 14th in Melbourne, its best market.

Incredibly strong figures.
News killing it.

Hot Seat won against The chase at 5pm and was close behind at 5.30.

Nine News Melbourne hit 400k again.

ACA slaughters The Latest and The Project and isn’t far away from ABC News

Bondi didn’t do too badly. I just don’t understand why 10 can’t extend the Project at the moment until 8pm and then show Bondi from 8pm. They really aren’t using their news.

I think i agree. The news is overkill, but thats whats rating. I would also move Bold and Beautiful to Peach at 6pm with neighbours for 2 weeks and start Ten news at five earlier.
With Neighbours getting some good figures its a pity it’ll take a hit now airing only twice a week.

5pm - Ten News actually won the hour. All 3 were within 1000’s of each other

Bumper figures again for news and current affairs shows.
Both Hard Quiz and Mad as Hell were up on last week.

10 really should add some news to primetime.

It would:

boost their ratings
and expose the news brand to more people

My bad, should’ve clarified that I meant against The Chase

@TV.Cynic do you get demo shares for the night? 25-54?

Most people still aren’t interested in The Latest at 7pm.

Why is Neighbours only airing twice a week?

To spread out the episodes.

Monday and Friday only as of next week.

What 602,000 vs 1,000,000 for ABC News?!

Reread it. ACA isn’t far away from ABC News.

Yes sorry Nicholas. Was in the process of deleting but you got in first!

As much as The Latest is a well produced product, it seems that pretty much every show on Seven is toxic these days, ratings-wise.

Too much like the 6pm news? Viewers turning to ACA and The Project for different styles and to the ABC for a different source, it seems.

A shame because I do like The Latest. I still think that because it is an hour, and all the other programs at 7pm are 30mins, it is dragging down the average.

Different story in the key demos where The Project was number one in 16-39 and number two in 25-54 and 18-49. The Latest finished 4th in the demos across its timeslot with its lowest results so far in the earlier timeslot.

The ranking in the key demos was Nine, Seven 10, ABC.
