Beauty and The Geek up 123k due to weaker competition. Seems people will only watch this show if there is nothing better on.

It was also a geek makeover episode I think.

It will be a flop in total next week. It doesn’t look like anybody watched Ghosts either. Strange programming decision to have an American show in prime time after it has been on Paramount+.

Wow, that was fast.

No idea why it rates the way it does when it’s the same old. Clearly it’s vulnerable when it has competition against it (Hunted).

Kylie hosting may have had an impact for Sunrise?

It’s inoffensive vacuous trash which is easy to have on in the background. The alternative offerings from the other networks were very weak last night.

It was only 1 geek. And 4 episodes in this would’ve been usually second week at least.

From Nine:

  • 9Network and Channel 9 dominate Wednesday night with all key demos.
  • Beauty and the Geek was the No.1 live streamed entertainment program of the night
  • Beauty and the Geek is the No. 1 program across the 5 City Metro and in Sydney with People 16-39
  • Beauty and the Geek recorded a Live + VOD BVOD Audience of 52,000
  • 9News is the No. 1 program across the East Coast and in Sydney and Brisbane with Total People
  • ACA wins 7pm timeslot across 5 City Metro, East Coast and in Sydney and Brisbane
  • Travel Guides wins timeslot across the 5 City Metro, East Coast and in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide with all key demos
  • Today wins breakfast timeslot across 5 City with all key demos
  • Today Extra is a timeslot winner in Sydney with Total People

From 10:

Network 10 (10 + 10 Bold + 10 Peach + 10 Shake):

  • #2 network in under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s
  • 10: #2 channel in under 50s, 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.

  • #2 in its timeslot in under 50s and all key demos.

The Project 7pm:

  • #1 in its timeslot in under 50s and 16 to 39s.

10 News First:

Nine strategically adjusted the format last year to spread out the makeovers starting with one every few episodes because as we know they are the most popular. It really messes with the format though as now there is one madeover geek who doesn’t at least look like a geek anymore and is potentially at an advantage.

Nine won the east coast with over 30% shares plus Adelaide. Seven won Perth. Nine won the demos with a competitive 10 second - just 2 points behind in 16-39.

Soon Today will be able to beat Sunrise using Brisbane alone. Brisbane to Nine is like Perth to Seven.

I thought Ghosts did ok - ranked 21st in total people and beat Aftertaste and Britain’s Got Talent.

I agree, it didn’t really grab me. It lacks a bit of atmosphere. Maybe they should add some canned laughter and applause.

It is strange, but it’s a great show. Maybe this is 10 trying to gain more subscribers for P+? It’s better then a Bull rpt.

Why not screen Aussie show Spreadsheet then?

They might later on. Ghosts has been on P+ for longer than Spreadsheet.

They don’t think it will Excel in the ratings?

Totally deserved.

Nothing to brag about. All 3 shows are dismally low at the moment.

Well played!
