#2

The Yearly was tops outside News and Sport.

#3

Seven’s coding of the Big Bash (including the innings break as a separate entry) makes comparisons with previous seasons difficult if that is something you wanted to do

The opening game last year on Ten had just 3 entries with the final adjusted numbers:

Session 1 783,000
Session 2 824,000
Post-Game 530,000

Ten’s main channel had a 21.6% share that night.

#4

Down as expected given the Fox Sports simulcast.

#5

How did The Latest go, does anybody know?

#6

BBL helped Seven to a comfortable win. The post-game numbers were low which affected the ratings for the debut of Seven’s late news The Latest.

#7

Good figures for Big Bash. Interesting to see the Foxtel figure

#8

10Bold has been getting some very respectable figures lately.

#9

Splitting it up as five separate entries is beyond ridiculous.

#10

It’s summer non-ratings though, Seven’s multi-channels have gone on holidays. You’ll notice that while 4-5% is generally considered quite big, the actual numbers have been as low as 120k and highs of 140k last night (highs of 160k on Monday).

Where as during much of the year, such shares are usually associated with ratings close to or over 200k (e.g.) Outback Truckers, TBBT, movies.

Just pointing that out. According to Steve Molk on the latest podcast, 10’s multi-channels still need work, calling the rebranded 10 Bold a “wasteland”.

#11

The BBL Innings Break rated higher than the actual game on both Seven and Fox…

#12

Another win to Mike Amor too.

#13

Is the BBL simulcast on the Foxtel 4K channel included in that figure shown for Fox Cricket?

#14

Raffle, poker machines?

#15

You can see why CA wanted so much more for Big Bash. Great figures. Obviously FTA down, but still pretty good for 7.

#16

Way down the list - rated lower than afternoon news. It lost almost 50% of the lead in. However, demo rankings were better and not helped by start time being post 10.30.

#17

Why does Seven need to code the cricket into 5 segments? Surely, a pre-game and post gsme, plus the game itself is snough for the tv codings

#18

Thought the bulletin aired after the BBL in Brisbane?

#19

Yes - you’re right make that everywhere except Brisbane .

#20

If it was a wasteland, it’d be rating under 1%!
