Nine was again dominant last night securing one third of the FTA audience. ABC improved from the previous week with Seven and 10 losing audience. For the second consecutive day Nine won all markets.

Married At First Sight’s dinner party saw the show over one million for the third time this week. Post 7.30, ABC’s line up did well with the debut of the new comedy Frisk gaining more than 500,ooo metro viewers, up significantly from Aftertaste that debuted to 450k. That was ahead of Nine’s Amazing Grace that was steady week-on-week.

For 10, The Cube dropped to a season low 317,000. That was almost 40k below its previous low point.

For Seven, a split schedule saw Front Bar the best result with 281,000. That compares to 384,000 for last season’s premier. The show’s best audience was in Melbourne where the show ranked 9th.

Hot Seat had a rare win over The Chase thanks to its east coast performance.

Decent size win for Nine News Adelaide.
The tide certainly is shifting!

Solid debut for Fisk. Hopefully good reviews will attract more people to watch the show.

I hate to be on the repetitive train with some of the other users, but give the cube a chance on THURSDAYS. Did someone from Seven advise Ten to put it on Wednesdays?
7mate back making demo appearances on a Wednesday but still beaten by its own 7flix animations.

Seven wins the first half of news by only 7,000 viewers, while Nine beats Seven on the second half by 14,000. A major turn over for news in Melbourne. Nine can’t manage to win in Melbourne.

Nine News wins Sydney, Brisbane & Adelaide, while Seven News wins Melbourne & Perth.

A Current Affair beats ABC News by a huge 128,000 viewers.

Also, Hot Seat wins against The Chase by 15,000.

Hope so too. Deserves to build on that debut.

Amazing Grace dropping but very good in the younger demos.

Completely agree. Plus then The Cube isn’t up against MAFS either. I think it would do well on Thursdays.

It was a pointless show, only produced as a promo for the AFL. It should just air on Fox Footy or AFL.com.au in future.

Certainly a shift from yesterday

Nine News had a rare Wednesday win in Adelaide.
The AFL Launch struggled in its 8pm timeslot where it was beaten heavily by MAFS. It was beaten by The Cube, Hard Quiz, and Tony Robinson’s Britain’s Ancient Tracks.
Tonight, the AFL season begins and Seven will be desperate to win this week.

Is it really going to do any better on Thursday when it’s up against the AFL and NRL

7flix beat 7mate, extremely rare on a weeknight. 7flix has been doing well on Wednesdays (and Tuesdays) recently with movies with some shares north of 2%.

It did last week too, but total people was significantly higher (went from nearly 3% to barely 2% last night), dragging down the network. Though the strong demographic shares for 7mate and 7flix probably helped the network’s demographics.

Wasn’t Con Air on? Always popular.

If 9 keeps winning by these kind of margins, 7 will have no hope of clawing back the lead in overall share by the end of the year.

It won’t be up against MAFS or Hard Quiz so probably

It’s odd how Adelaide is switching to Nine News and now Melbourne is switching to Seven News.
