The much anticipated dinner party episode of Married At First Sight posted a season high for this series and saw Nine improve its overnight share to almost 32%. This was largely at the expense of ABC and SBS.

10’s Survivor posted a small increase week-on-week while My Kitchen Rules was steady, still in 4th place in its timeslot. MKR managed 13th place in 25-54 ranking lower than ABC’s Mad As Hell and the network’s own First Dates Australia.

Later, Doctor, Doctor and First Dates posted small increases, while Seven benefited in later shares by dumping under-performing Temptation Island.

Equivalent 2nd week Wednesday episodes last year were 1.28 million for MAFS and 816,000 for MKR while 10 was showing I’m A Celebrity with 527,000.

Nine won the east coast markets with +30% shares plus Adelaide while Seven had +30% in Perth.

MKR almost beat by 10 News last night.

Mad as Hell was lower than last week but Hard Quiz was up.
10Bold wasn’t quite able to reach the 5% mark despite NCIS repeat hitting 200,000 and topping multichannels yet again.

Young audiences tuned-in to first run Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad on 7mate, even repeats including earlier on 7flix. One of the only (and small) positives for the Seven Network.

NCIS really propping up 10BOLD! Who has the rights to the CSI franchise…surely that would be a good fit for this channel, especially with its rumored revamp coming soon

10 currently has the rights to the CSI franchise, with CSI: Miami in 10Bold’s schedule.

It airs on Tuesdays I believe.

How long can 10 sustain Bull at 9:00pm? Ranking 33rd isn’t good for a 9pm show. I wonder if could either put movies on or air Just for Laughs specials.

Ten the only network up year on year, albeit from a small base.

Huge night for MAFS. It s more than double Survivor viewers. Almost triple MKR viewers. And more viewers than both shows combined.

Anyone know who’s winning the 3pm timeslot? Was ditching Nine News Now for Tipping Point paying off for Nine?

The Chase UK easily accounts for Tipping Point - roughly 50% more viewers. I did make a post last week about the comparative numbers - seems to be at or below what Nine News Now did on same day last year. Should be doing better as it gets a big lead in from MAFS encore each day. Looking at yesterday’s numbers, also beaten by Judge Judy.

However, these comparisons are quite difficult as we are looking at total people numbers of only 100 - 150k - so small changes can have a big impact from day to day. When you start to get into demos there aren’t a lot of people watching anything at that time and Tipping Point might have a slight edge in 25-54.
