Bach in Paradise held onto its launch audience and MKR was up from yesterday but lower than last Wednesday. 10’s best Wednesday and Nine’s lowest for the survey with 10 coming second in the key demo network shares. Another huge result for 10Bold -equal highest share of the survey, outrating SBS.

MKR slowly climbing. BIP drops slightly.

Hard Quiz is doing very well.

Is that rating for The Latest right?? If so, that’s a great figure!

#5

The Latest performed quite well in an earlier timeslot.

#6

I’d say it is inflated by an over-run from The Front Bar.

#7

Lower than last year’s second episode though (656,000).

The Front Bar continues its stellar performance in Melbourne. Still not as amazing in the other two AFL states, states where 7 normally dominates.

Bach in Paradise can’t lift. Thought it might.

MKR continues to grow.

I find it absolutely astonishing that 10 has put NCIS LA against Bull. What a stupid decision. 10 really need to sort out there 8:30 slots on their main channel. If they are going to air the US procedurals on Bold they cannot be airing the same thing on the main channel. They have absolutely no balance. I said their upfronts were underwhelming and I stick by that. They needed to commission a lot more light entertianment programs to fill their main channel and let their multis have this US content.

What time did The Latest air last night?

I thought Bachelor in Paradise might grow a bit last night with the Alex/Richie confrontation. The advantage it has is that it’s on tonight… Ten’s reality shows often get a boost on Thursdays with less competition so it might get a chance to grab some more viewers.

Around 10.15pm in AFL states after The Front Bar which ran overtime again. 10pm in NSW, ACT and Queensland.

Disastrous ratings for the return of Bull & Hawaii Five-0 last night, which in turn meant Sports Tonight’s audience was about half of it’s recent results - surely at those numbers it makes it hard to justify continuing production of the show.

What do you really expect when you air Bull and NCIS LA against one another.

In Sydney and Melbourne, Seven News got small boosts in the second half hour to beat Nine News, after trailing in the first half hour.

The figure for The Latest is way over-inflated by the overrun of The Front Bar in Melbourne. As others have suggested here. The finish time of TFB was coded as 2203.

Oh dear, Bachelor In Paradise dips again. Anyone want to guess how much it will dip tonight? It will be under the 500,000 mark, put your house on it

But smashing The Footy Show. Will that survive?

Onens5, I actually don’t mind Bachelor In Paradise. I just think it MAFS could rate 1.3M every night, this show should have been up there in the 800,000s.

I think the executive at Ten who thought it was a good idea to launch the show with no promotion is the same person that thought it was a good idea to pay Lisa Wlikinson $2million a year.

#20

You keep repeating that salary but it’s a furphy so you should stop.

Yes, Ten need to promote their shows better and yes BIP should be doing better but also take note that it took MAFS a few years to build those record audiences.
