Jeez Sky should be embarrassed to have Ross Cameron on.

SBS HD looks like 240p youtube.

The split screen coverage on CNN and FOX is the best IMO.

Channel 7 looks like 1080P.

For what they’re worth, here’s a few caps I managed to get of ABC News 24’s coverage just prior to the debate starting:

I’m pretty sure that ABC News 24 is airing a feed of the debate that multiple broadcasters are using (but with their own graphics of course), so nothing exciting there.

UPDATE: Caps from ABC News 24 from after the debate:

As far as I can tell, Nine didn’t air any coverage (outside the usual reports during bulletins) of today’s US Presidential Debate.

However I’d definitely expect Nine to do some sort of coverage for the US Election itself in November, like they did in 2012 when from memory, Peter Overton, Deborah Knight and a few other people presented the coverage in a slightly dressed up Nine News Sydney set.

They promoted the fact they were live streaming the debate via 9news.com.au on their morning show.

Average performance from Lester Holt, Trump kept taking over Clinton’s 2 minutes but took a while for him to have a crack at him. He let Trump go on and on…

Australian ratings for debate 1:

The debate attracted 81 million viewers on the commercial networks in the US, 84 million if PBS was added.

Success claimed for online CBS News channel CBSN.

There might not be an election this year.
