For a luxury department store, it appears now David Jones has seemingly generated AI footage of a dog for a new TV commercial for their newly revamped loyalty program called David Jones Rewards which is currently doing the rounds. I just saw a ad for Uber Eats on The 10 App and it an introductory offer but it sounded so robotic. I’m not sure if it was an AI voice or some real but it was super cheap… Even the video looked like a Powerpoint Presentation with stock video footage sandwiched between, which for a company that _allegedly_ scams thousands from restaurants is embarrassing… ---

I came across that ad, too. I didn’t look at it, but the voice over certainly sounded unnatural to me. I don’t think that it’s a coincidence that it’s popped up so soon after Menulog announced its closure. ---
