A rare tie in network shares between Seven and Nine with Nine’s main channel number one. Nine won 25-54 and 10 won 16-39. Before rounding Nine was ahead by just 0.01%!

It was another good Tuesday for 10 especially in the key demo groups. The Dog House continues to rise, hitting a season high and topping all key demos. Cheap Seats that followed also a demo winner in its timeslot.

Not so good for other reality shows. Parental Guidance slipped 30k week-on-week to a season low and Big Brother VIP lost +40k to hit a series low and just 12th in 25-54.

Nine managed to boost its network share by shifting Love Island to a later timeslot and replacing with a repeat of Travel Guides.

The Project 7pm was notable for outrating all news programming in 18-49 and 16-39.

Good to see The Dog House beat Parental Guidance.

Seems like swapping Travel Guides repeats and Love Island have paid off. Perhaps Nine could consider something like repeats of Hamish and Andy on Mondays after Parental Guidance and move Love Island back to 9.30 as well.

The Dog House has become a late season hit 10 is desperately looking for.

Great to see The Dog House doing well.

Parental Guidance at First Sight not so great.

It will probably see a similar increase like last week and be the number 1 show at 7:30. It is doing pretty well. I am surprised.

Cheap Seats has really picked up as well. I thought it might just wither out. But its good to see it continue to rise. I must get back into watching it. I have heard its improved.

Not even Danny Hayes appearing could fix the ratings with BB VIP .

I find it strange that positive comments for any channel 9 show is so rare. Parental Guidance which is both unique and helpful and positive rarely receives any feedback let alone positive feedback. I rarely watch commercial TV, but dumbfounded by what I perceive as the imbalance of comments.

Probably because… who is he?

Exactly. I have no idea either.

Every time @TV_Addict mentions someone he thinks might boost the ratings, the rest of Australia is scratching their heads about who they might be. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Last year’s BB housemate. Producers seem to favour him. He got evicted.

Nah. Still rings no bells.

I haven’t watched it. Probably not the right thread. I wouldn’t be surprised if a large amount of forum members don’t have children so probably have no interest in the type of show.

I bet the ones who watch Married at First Sight are not married to random strangers or otherwise. :stuck_out_tongue:

Well the term parental guidance, for a new show, kind of turned me off. Married at first sight took some time to find its groove, format and audience as well. Maybe it suffered a similar problem.

Great to see The Dog House succeeding. It’s been building every single week. A slow burn hit and nice to see a heartwarming show that doesn’t involve nastiness or scandal doing well!
