Nine was back on top on Tuesday night with one third of the viewing audience watching the network. That put it ten clear of Seven that lost ground from the previous week while 10 and ABC improved. Nine won all markets except Perth that was won by Seven again. Nine was also well clear of second-placed 10 in the key demographic groups.

Married At First Sight and The Amazing race were unchanged from the previous week while the third instalment of Ultimate Tag continued its dismal run below 300k for the second consecutive night despite the lessening of competition from Monday night.

ABC did well with Foreign Correspondent while Nine’s News Special topped its post-reality timeslot with over 600k making the top 5 in demos.

How did the Oprah interview at 9.30pm rate?

Nine back to its winning ways. I was quite surprised at the ratings of the news special though.
The Good Doctor missed the top 20 in overnight figures, which doesn’t happen very often.

Nine bounced back to a nightly win thanks to Married at First sight, Nine News crown in crisis.
Ultimate Tag was slightly up from the previous episode but just cracked the top 20.

Check yesterday’s topic for that.

It got much less viewers than Monday. (Can I mention the percentage?)

You have to wonder if there’s an opportunity for a nightly news/panel discussion show at 9.30pm based on the very strong ratings for the Nine News Special. Maybe Ten should consider moving The Project the 9.30pm!

Why would 10 move one of their top rating programs to a late night timeslot? It is one of their top rated shows that is super competitive in key demos and brings in a lot of interest to the network through guests, advertisers and socials.

And once again, Ultimate Tag is no match for Ultimate Slag.

Channel 7 has become a basket case.
Surly they won’t keep Ultimate Flop in their primetime schedule after this week!?

Big numbers all round for 9 again, obliterating the competition.

With Easter non-ratings 2.5 weeks away, I think Seven will keep Ultimate Tag in the primetime schedule, and launch Big Brother straight after Easter.

Roughly 10% of the Monday figure.

Why keep it on when World’s wackiest dog and cat videos could get 350-400k…

Depends on the agreements they have with the advertisers.

While it must be said that Ultimate Tag got a slightly higher figure than it did on Monday, surely it’ll be bumped sooner rather than later? Those “funny” cat/dog video shows, factual repeats, a movie, the test pattern…ANYTHING is likely to rate better than this!

Haha.

If that “Greatest Dinner Party of All Time” promo (talk about hyperbole…) is anything to go by, MAFS will probably rate through the roof tonight!
