No doubt some will be impressed.

Thank god 7 is finally gaining wins in Brisbane (hooray!). Nine seems to be getting more attention in Perth and Adelaide (10News First unfortunately cannot catch up in those two areas anymore.) Nine still maintaining a huge lead over Melbourne unfortunately. Nine with only a small advantage in Sydney.

Unfortunately? Are you a fan of the Seven Network or something?

If only Seven were brave enough to have Michael Usher as their main newsreader. Not sure about everyone else, but I firmly believe that Sydney would be an extremely competitive market for 6pm news if we had a battle of the ex-60 Minutes reporters on the big two.

Sorry, I do admit that comment was somewhat biased and unfair to Nine.

I don’t believe Fergo is necessarily contributing to Nine’s downfall. There have been days, where with Fergo leading the team, Seven have been able to overcome Nine in the ratings. If Michael Usher was more than suitable for weeknights, I would have expected the ratings for 7Syd on weekends to have been higher by now. There isn’t enough evidence in the ratings to prove this should happen yet.

Umm why? Who tf cares? It really is a travesty if anything. Poor programming does not deserve to be rewarded or celebrated.

Think he was referring to news. Seven News certainly deserves to beat the tabloid magazine that is called Nine News Queensland these days. Their general programming on the other hand…

The opposite can probably be said for the equivalent products in Sydney & Melbourne.

Here at least, Nine still has “Special Reports” of some journalistic substance from time to time (such as those investigations into major maintenance problems at hospitals and Circular Quay ferry wharves) while Seven’s are of content which would belong on Today Tonight if it was still on the air.

Personally, I don’t think the primetime lineups of either Seven or Nine have been that great in recent years.

In that sentence you have quoted, I was clearly referring to 7QLD.

This is what I meant by that particular sentence.

That’s rich coming from you

Do you mean content that would belong on ACA :stuck_out_tongue:

Nice figures for SKY kicking off with Credlin. Also note AM Agenda up by 20k…

You can’t fault those Sky News numbers. 13 shows in the top 20 STV

They have to be the #1 pay network right now - by far.

On Foxtel only you mean?
