It was the final of The Masked Singer last night with the show ending on a season high reveal of 771,000 after the rest of the show had 648,000. It helped lift 10 to its best Tuesday in 5 weeks. The result compares to season two that had 1.19 million and 1 million in 2020. Nine won the key demos plus all markets except Perth.

The result didn’t impact The Block that had its best Tuesday in 4 weeks and helped Nine to its third consecutive Tuesday win.

By contrast, SAS Australia slipped to season low. Up against the increased competition, it was the show’s lowest ever rating.

Later, The Weakest Link’s Block special did 533,000 while The Cheap Seats on 10 got a boost from the improved lead in to its best result in 10 weeks.

ABC got a slight boost with a post 7.30 show making the top 20.

In the afternoon Hot Seat slipped to its lowest Tuesday since March while for The Chase Australia it was the lowest Tuesday number since April.

Seven News Brisbane almost beaten by Seven’s Perth bulletin last night.

Good figures for The Masked Singer finale but it couldn’t even beat The Block in major demos.

The Weakest Link’s Block special did well.

Those figures for 10 News First are concerningly low. I wonder if they might dip under 300K during Summer for the 5pm portion.

Not any different to usual. Timeslot competitors Hot Seat and The Chase also low numbers reflecting the time of year.

The weakest link the block specials performed much better than the first 10 regular episodes.
The masked singer finale was down from last year’s finale.

Maybe there is some hope for The Weakest Link after all, if they stick to celebrity specials.

Crisis meeting is a bit extreme. Sunrise is still winning mostly and Today’s wins aren’t exactly convincing yet.

Though I’d imagine they’d be having some discussions about what to do next.

I’m happy Today are winning! Sunrise really have sunk

Sunrise hasn’t really sunk but more so that people are watching Today. Let’s see if they can sustain it for 21 weeks next year.

You must be over the moon that your favourite breakfast show is winning and that Sunrise is losing right?
