Data © OzTAM Pty Limited 2019. The Data may not be reproduced, published or communicated (electronically or in hard copy) in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of OzTAM. “Overnight” figures include “Live” (programs broadcast during the 2am-2am broadcast day) and “As Live” (programs recorded and then watched within the same broadcast day). “Consolidated” figures include Live, As Live and “Time Shift” (programs recorded and then watched within seven days of the initial broadcast).

Nine cruised to an easy win as Seven posted its lowest Tuesday share of the 2019 survey despite winning Adelaide and Perth. Nine also won the key demos with 10 second. 10 lost share from the previous Tuesday as ABC saw a big increase thanks to the popularity of Old People’s Homes for 4 Year Olds.

Seven’s post 7.30 line up crashed again as The Proposal recorded the same audience as last week’s premiere. Demos for the show were equally as bad ranking below NCIS in the 16-39 demo. It was another big night for Survivor, closing the gap on The Block in total people and winning the demos.

Big jump for Old People’s Homes for 4 Year Olds. Good reviews on Gogglebox and social media must have helped.
The Proposal had the same audience as last week but made the top 20 thanks to low ratings for NCIS repeats on 10.

Which makes you wonder why they didn’t get Rove a chance on Tuesdays… Yes it may have got around 130k on Saturdays but surely with a Survivor lead out it would have at worst got similar figures to NCIS repeats.

Yes I agree. Rove was cancelled too quickly. Ten should have moved it to another timeslot and if it still fails, then cancel it.

And it’s just another example of what used to work in the past, doesn’t work in the present time anymore. Rove was quite popular on Ten many years ago. And just look at Seven’s several reality shows (Border Security, The Force, Highway Patrol etc). These shows used to rate above 1 million…in fact if I remember correctly, Border Security used to rate close to 2 million.

AFL documentary Collingwood: From the Inside Out rated poorly despite having a decent lead-in from Old People’s Homes, and previews in The Age and Herald Sun over the past week or so.

How long can 10 justify 200k at 8:30/9:00? Surely movies would be rating better in this slot than NCIS.

Doubt it.

10 need to justify 70% of its schedule. Lol.

NCIS beaten by celebrity name game, losing 500k of its audience should put it in the higher percentage.
