Seven won its third consecutive overnight ratings posting its best Tuesday share of the 2021 survey. Nine was just 0.3 behind in network shares with the main channels separated by 0.1.

In the reality battle at 7.30, LEGO Masters was again number one despite dropping from the previous Tuesday. Big Brother stayed over 600k to rank second while MasterChef also above 600k posted its biggest audience since launch. The three programs made the top 5 in the key demos.

For ABC Old People’s Home posted a series high while Anh’s Brush With Fame was also up week-on-week.

Nine News win Adelaide and continues to dominate Seven in Brisbane.

No split coding for BB for a change. It should stay that way until the grand final.

Much needed audience increase for MasterChef (it was a great elimination episode too). It also won the timeslot in Melbourne.

Nine News beat Seven News in Adelaide yet again. Seems to me that Tuesday is Nine News’ strongest night in the city. Neck and neck between the two bulletins in Melbourne across the hour.

For some reason my phone won’t make this smaller, but there was a coding issue with regional Lego Masters last night.

Lego masters won its time slot in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, while Big brother won in Adelaide. Masterchef won its time slot in Melbourne. Big brother was ranked 3rd in time slot in Melbourne.
News wise. Nine news Adelaide won comfortably over Seven News Adelaide. Nine news won the first 30 mins in Melbourne. Seven news Melbourne won the 6:30pm time slot.
Nine Afternoon News appeared in the top 20, which is very rare.

Same thing happened with metro, but I corrected it.

It was really just a naming error - as there hasn’t been an encore of the Tuesday show yet. The Monday encore that was shown during the day was separately reported, so the rating number was correct (confirmed by Nine) for the prime time program.

Good to see Masterchef up a bit - it might be gaining some momentum. We also have a pretty close 7.30pm battle with only ~120k viewers difference between the three, so it will be interesting to see how that levels out by next week.

Masterchef is starting to increase. I guess the first week was a little boring. I haven’t watched an episode yet but I might start from Sundays episode. Big Brother is doing well for 7. The total figures aren’t great but it is doing really well in those demos.

Great to see a genuine 3 way competition at 7:30pm heading into winter. I think there’s room for all 3 formats to thrive - giving wins for each network whether in total people, demos or wins in certain cities.

What am I going to do with all my shots I poured this morning, Nine didn’t use the word Dominant or its variations today. :frowning:

The first week felt really slow, boring and the episodes were soooooo long.

This week is definitely an improvement - last nights episode was cracking and the show has been finishing around 840/850 which is more tolerable - the episodes that drag till 910/920+ really bother me it’s just too long, too big a commitment every night.

The battle of the EndemolShine shows last night with Lego, Big Brother, Masterchef and Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds.

Pretty good to see everyone competitive and bringing out their A game last night.

I didn’t even realise all four were produced by the same company. That must be the dream for a production company - to have shows dominating the airwaves.

And a nightmare. It risks getting ditched if it looks like they are doing better with one show over another or if one show cannibalized another and risks the other show getting axed.

Must be the appeal of Tim Watson’s sports segment and Jane Bunn’s weather segment that lures viewers across from Nine in the last half hour.

On another note, the 10 News First figures for Adelaide seems to be higher than the usual putrid numbers but Sydney figures seems to be slightly lower, probably as a result of last night’s technical issues?

While Brisbane’s 10 bulletin was just 2k behind ABC.
