#2

Married At First Sight continues to dominate but is down from its last few episodes and last Tuesday’s number (1.35m) that saw Nine record a 36% share. That saw MKR lift to its best number since Sunday of last week, up about 90,000. Ambulance Australia was well down on last season’s results but up 120k from the repeat episode of last week.

News numbers were on par with last week. ACA was down 100k with The Project and Home and Away improving.

#3

Abysmal Ambulance Australia result. Ten have destroyed it and it’s now time for CBS to swing the axe and clean out the programming team. The people there are incapable of changing course ratings wise and a whole new team are needed if success is to ever come again.

Travel Guides staying strong out of MAFS, MKR up. The Good Doctor stands head and shoulder above the rest of Seven’s other 9pm offerings.

I’m not sure if it has been reported here, but I wanted to share to highlight the extent to which MAFS is torpedoing MKR in the ratings. Here are publicly available ratings that show the 9now ratings for MAFS tripling the 7plus MKR ratings. MAFS on 9now is doing almost 10 times better than Tenplay’s top performers. Incredible engagement.

https://reports.oztam.com.au/#/rolling/28

#4

MKR rose for the elimination cook-off. With instant restaurants over for now, the show’s ratings will surely decline during the group challenge stage starting tonight.
Bad start for the new season of Ambulance Australia, should have aired last week.

#5

Ten made a bad decision to have a repeat episode of Ambulance Australia last week so it may be struggling to get the message out that it’s a new series now but we also have to remember that it had the advantage of less competition late last year.

MAFS is just smashing everything. MKR was also doing better when it wasn’t head to head with MAFS although it rose last night.

Nine have made Travel Guides a hit when little else is doing well after 9pm these days. Not even super fast tracking The Good Doctor can help it now that it has run out of steam.

#6

The Chase & Hot Seat are now beating 10’s entire prime time. Time for change, surely?
It’s interesting that Travel Guides does considerably better than Bad Mothers with a similar lead in.

#7

The 10 brand is toxic thanks to the persistent misteps of management. It will take years to recover.

#8

NCIS ranked 21st in its new timeslot just ahead of a True Story repeat at 22nd. The Latest had its best result in a while at the earlier time and ranked 28th.

Sunrise was 80k ahead of Today.

#9

Despite receiving a lot of social media attention The Bolt Report had its lowest Tuesday rating so far this year.

#10

Not surprising given even his most die-hard fans were calling him out on his views. It aired without ads anyway last night.

#11

Terrible to see him and Miranda Devine defend child rapists. They have lost the plot.

#12

Nothing in top fifteen for 10. Oh dear.

#13

Good audience for WWE Raw. Hopefully Smackdown does just as well

#14

They just changed their brand!

#15

How on earth has Bev managed to go on this long with this ongoing performance?

Apparently it’s not the content it’s something else?

#16

Ten need to bump a 30 min local news bulletin in ASAP for 6pm. Make it short sharp and punchy unlike the 7 and 9 offerings.

#17

And that a discussion for another area

Having no ads should have pushed the numbers higher, so it seems the content was a big turn off even for the Sky News evening audience.

#18

Still not sure why there wasn’t a new episode of Ambulance last week. This weeks figures aren’t good. Ok they really aren’t good, but better than airing a repeat. They probably would have had the same figure last week, and who knows it could have gain traction.

#19

“They could make the next Sopranos and no one would watch it.”

SMH article summed Ten up.

#20

Multi-channels rather low last night, especially Seven and Nine’s.

One theory is that the might of Married, combined with all the other offerings, is hampering them. 7mate’s heavily promoted (usually biggest night) “Aussie” factuals don’t seem to be firing like Truckers, etc.
