Nine continued its Tuesday winning streak up from last week to 31%. ABC also improves with 10, Seven and SBS down. Nine won all markets except Perth were Seven was 8 points clear of Nine. Nine also had a big win in all key demos with 10 again second well clear of Seven.

The night’s biggest movers week-on-week were ABC Great Australia Train Trip, up 60k, and Foreign Correspondent up 90k. Married At First Sight and My Kitchen Rules were up slightly as Paramedics dropped slightly and Survivor was down 45k. SBS’s Great Australian Train Journeys dropped from the previous week.

The Good Doctor dropped more than 60k from Sunday’s low to it lowest audience ever and first time outside the top 20.

Good ratings for the final episode of Great Australian Rail Trip, while Great Australian Railway Journeys (which has been losing viewers in the past couple of weeks) is just holding on its spot in the top 20 with two episodes to go.

The 7.30pm reality shows seem to be pretty stable with the audience numbers they are attracting. MAFS obviously continues to dominate and I think it will get a boost tonight and/or Sunday with the cheating and toothbrush scandal that is about to unfold.

One of those shows that has gone on too long. That doc kid drives me insane every time I see him on the ads whining about something in his life.

I’m curious as to how much worse Seven would be doing in the key demos if it weren’t for 7mate and 7flix?

I guess both series screened at this time to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Indian Pacific but they both could have done better away from each other.

SBS probably should have screened Secrets of Our Cities in that Tuesday timeslot rather than on Sunday night. It seems to do really well with genealogy shows in that Tuesday slot and SOOC is a show along those lines.

Is it time for Seven and Nine to stop splitting their 6pm News into two segments for the ratings? There was only 1k difference between the two for Nine.

I understood why they used to have two ratings, when Seven had Today Tonight in some states, but its rather irrelevant now for the split coding .

How well are these two channels doing in the demos though? Yes they got some entries but what sort of percentage do they actually command?

I should’ve mentioned, Cynic sometimes will mention the demographics in his analysis during the morning ratings thread, as to how each fared and has pointed specifically to network demographic shares before in reference to Seven (as in what we’re saying, how 7mate and 7flix particularly help them).
