Seven got a boost to its usual Tuesday audience with good late night numbers for the Paralympics Opening Ceremony. Most of those viewers seem to have come from ABC and SBS with Nine and 10 shares largely unaffected.

Seven won all markets with Perth the best at over 40% share as well as key demo groups.

The Voice continued to be a winner at 7.30 pm though it was down to a season low last night. Next best was Survivor that was steady with the previous week while The Block ranked third with a small increase from the previous week’s low.

Later The Opening Ceremony did an impressive 643,000 while The Hundred was up week-on-week.

The Late Part of the Opening Ceremony missed the top 20. with about half the audience of the eelier part.

Nine’s afternoon line-up doing well enough to make the top 20.

That is a very high number for Tipping Point. Clearly it’s resonating with the audience while The Chase UK has been there for too long.

It’s a ridiculous rating for a 3pm show. It is a tad addictive.

Highlights the low ratings of the cheap seats. It’s a good show but a shame it isn’t rating all too well. Wonder how it’s going in the demos.

That’s not far off what it has been getting in the afternoon for a while now; it just made the top 20 this week because ABC’s line up crashed out.

It did better than The Hundred in the demos.

Awesome figures for the Paralympics! Hope we see them continue to rate well.

Great figures for the Tokyo Paralympics opening ceremony. Will be interesting to see the live streaming figures when they come out either today or next week.

Good numbers for the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

I’d say TEN are somewhat happy with Cheap Seats. It’s competitive in demos and pretty much holding its audience and getting great reviews.
With the right promotions and belief in the show, it has the ability to grow a bit. But as always with TEN, no need to watch live when you know there will be at least 3 encores to come.

Note that Seven split the Paralympics into two parts. The late part had about half the audience of the earlier segment.

I can see its appeal. It’s a bit boring to start with but it does become a bit more exciting as it progresses. It’s something different for the slot.

Looks like the axing of Nine News Now for Tipping Point has paid off in dividends.

I know, it’s certainly got me hooked, which is strange because I don’t usually like quiz shows.

Nine should consider a local version to put up against The Chase Australia!

That’s good. Then 10 will be inclined to renew it for 2022.

It also turns out that last week it beat The Hundred after time correction

The Cheap Seats is a really good show which is light-hearted, simple but entertaining. The Hundred is just woeful with a lot of forced ‘comedy’ and a bunch of comedians who think they’re the funniest in the world.

Hope The Cheap Seats gets renewed because it’s well produced and would not be that expensive considering it’s from the same team as HYBPA.

Maybe the 10pm AEST Paralympics coverage should be on the main channel, not 7mate.
