#21

I know they’ve tried this, but I honestly think this is the best option for 10 (given that nothing else but news rates and obvious 10 wouldn’t shift their 5pm news).

#22

I’d watch Pedestrian TV TV. Except they’re owned by Nine, so they wouldn’t show up on Ten.

#23

Deal or No Deal would be worth a crack in that slot, I reckon. Mindlessly simple to follow for that audience that has finished work and just wants to switch off. Pointless is a great format, but it’s a bit too intellectual for 6pm on Ten up against the news.

#24

Think DOND has run its course and Ten shouldn’t be relying on yet another reboot to improve its fortunes

#25

Nostalgia/old formats are in.

#26

I can’t understand why no network has tried to partner with or leverage off these popular online youth sites to arrest younger viewer declines. Content already exists online and would be relatively cheap to put to air. There would be benefits for both traditional broadcasters and the online outlets, reaching people across different screens and selling more scaled options to advertisers.

#27

Sale of the Century @ 6pm with big $$$ incentives for viewers to play online real time.
TV needs to be interactive to compete and we need incentives to get off our bums and turn the box on instead of reaching for the ipad.

Chris Bath hosting
Scott Tweedie as cohost in the gift shop!

#28

Supermarket Sweep is long overdue for a reboot. Just need to get Coles or Woolworths on board as a major sponsor.

#29

Nice idea but how are SA and WA viewers going to participate?

#30

They don’t have internet?? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::grimacing:
There are ways around that…
It can be delayed prizes to account for time differences, wake up in the morning and find an email advising you have won from last nights show.

#31

Then they would already have the questions/answers in advance from the show screening in Sydney and Melbourne. Defeats the whole live element. I guess they could air the show live at 3/4pm Perth, 5.30 Adelaide etc then just repeat it at 6pm local.

#32

I still think Come Dine With Me Australia 4 nights a week at 6pm would work perfectly and the Friday and Sunday air a spin off of the Project called The Sports Project - could be fronted by Sam Pang and Lehmo.

Good doctor has been doing fantastic figures again. Unbelievable.
