Seven held onto its near 30% share from Monday but Nine slipped 2.5 point while 10 improved. Seven won all markets except Melbourne that was won by Nine. 10 ranked second in Perth.

Seven won the demos last night with 10 ranked second.

Holey Moley lost 250,000 of its premiere audience but still topped the night for entertainment shows. Nine’s Travel Guides picked up some extra viewers from the previous week while The Amazing Race was steady around 500k.
The Good Doctor posted a respectable number for a US drama while Millionaire could only manage 337,000.

Nine News won 4 markets buts Seven’s Perth dominance saw Seven win in the 5-city number. Following, Home and Away improved from Monday.

10 Shake records its highest ever audience.

Think everyone saw the drop off coming for Holey Moley. Though I suppose Seven will be happy it’s winning the demos and the timeslot.

The Amazing Race improved its standings in the demos from Monday, including No.2 in 16-39s.

Despite Holey Moley’s Drop off in ratings, seven still won the night.

It was never going to attract a big audience in prime time.

I wonder what they went to the market with in regards to how they thought HM would go. I reckon they did bank on it in the 900s. Possibly a few 1m. I’d say they would be a disappointed considering the cash and promotion spent on it, for a new proven format overseas, like this

Polish TAR as much as you want with demos or whatever, it’s dead forget it.

The safest bet for advertisers appears to be the impending juggernaut at 9 in 3 weeks.

I think this is the first time that Kate Collins and Brenton Ragless have won across the full hour against Jane Doyle.

Still early days yet, but regular wins across all 7 days are becoming a thing. Like the promo has been saying (anyone have a video of it would be great): “The switch is ON

A nice increase for Seven, ABC, Nine and 10 news audiences in Perth. Been a while since Nine has had 100,000 or more. 10 up to 83,000 and of course Seven leading the way.

What was on 10 Shake that rated so well?

Travel Guides won out between the two travel reality shows in total viewers but The Amazing Race in the demos. Ten would definitely be concerned that The Amazing Race is below 500k already.

Holey Moley has dropped to more realistic numbers but Seven would want to sustain that. It will be interesting to see what happens next week with the tennis on. Both Holey Moley and The Amazing Race could be exposed to a lot of new viewers with less reality competition. I think a lot of the people watching the tennis won’t be the typical reality viewers so some of Nine’s might try the other shows.

Seven would hope it doesn’t drop much more, this was very expensive for them, and they had to pay twice for a bunch of episodes in US that won’t have any return.
TAR Australia at least had funding from local governments and sponsorships with the cars and local tourism etc.

Good Doctor did good and will no doubt pull big consolidated helping Seven maintain that lead, whereas with the sport they were dropping whole % points and getting pushed into 3rd after consolidated.

This was becoming blatantly obvious in tasks last night such as with the Ugg boots store and then having to find the Telstra billboard for the next clue.

It was another big day for Seven Perth with a network share higher than the combined shares for Nine and 10.

Programs in the top 20 included Seven Morning News and Seven’s afternoon news at 4 and 4.30 plus The Chase UK and Holey Moley Afternoon Encore. Travel Guides ranked 19th with The Amazing Race just outside the top 20.

ABC News at Noon again made the top 20.

Movie: Starship Troopers (1997)?

Regarding the 0 for Hot Seat in Perth. Nine runs Hot Seat at 3pm in Perth and looks to be coding that whole hour as “Hot Seat 5pm” instead of the usual 30 minute splits.

Won’t go on about it too much, but sounds like it needs to get moved to 9gem

ATP Cup not making the Top 20 and a mediocre share for GEM despite de Minaur playing would be of some concern to Nine

Yes certainly a concern. Do you know if it did last year?
