The Data may not be reproduced, published or communicated (electronically or in hard copy) in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of OzTAM. “Overnight” figures include “Live” (programs broadcast during the 2am-2am broadcast day) and “As Live” (programs recorded and then watched within the same broadcast day). “Consolidated” figures include Live, As Live and “Time Shift” (programs recorded and then watched within seven days of the initial broadcast).

Seven secured its highest share of this week and was up one point week-on-week. That saw Nine and ABC down while 10 improved slightly.

Seven easily won in all markets – in Sydney and Perth, Seven’s main channel share was higher than competitors’ network shares. Seven also won in 25-54 but it was 10 that won 16-39.

News was again a big feature of the top 20 with The Voice the top entertainment show, up 100k from the previous Tuesday. Survivor also posted an improved audience week-on-week while The Block sank to a season low, and was for the first time below 600k.

Following, Now and Then was down 44,000 from debut while The Hundred dropped 135,000 from last week. The Cheap Seats missed the top 20 but did well in key demo groups.

Both The Hundred and Australia: Now and Then suffered a pretty notable drop (not too sure about The Cheap Seats as it’s not in the top 20) but then again considering the quality of both shows it was kind of expected.

The Voice cracks the 1 million mark again which is quite extraordinary for a show that was flailing last year. The Block is now in dangerous territory, don’t think it has been this low for the past 3-4 years with Survivor way out in front which is well deserved.

Good figures for Neighbours. Also a somewhat decent share for 10 Shake (cracking 1% during the week).

A win for Seven News Sydney across the hour - especially close within the last 30 minutes.

Similar result for Adelaide: Seven News led by 36,000 in the first half but only by 3,000 in the second half.

The cash giveaway competition seems to have worked for Nine News Melbourne, beating Seven News in both halves.

The Cheap Seats rose by 12,000 from last Tuesday.

The Voice is just a massive powerhouse. I am actually shocked at how well it does year in and year out - especially during the blind auditions.

You gotta laugh at Nine. How embarrassing for them. They have nothing good to say about last night’s block so they say “last Tuesdays episode explodes”. At least they got a “dominate” in also.

The voice is getting great numbers but skewing pretty old if 1 million of its audience is out of 16-39.

Hi TV.Cynic. As always ,thanks for all the info you provide. But this one might need an edit!

the hundred gets the number it deserves. awful show.

So out of 5 episodes, the first one and fifth are the two highest rated so far. Not too bad given the olympics. Hopefully 10 give it time to build.

To be fair, the Blinds Auditions performed really well for Nine too last year. The drop-off came after they ended and the show started to drag out - the big test for Seven’s revamped version will be whether that happens again. They will be hoping that it won’t since the format has been tightened.

I cant see an encore of The Cheap Seats in the schedules on 10 any night? Could maybe do with an encore after HYBPA on Fridays or the following Mondays program to get some more eyeballs sampling it

In the past there has been one on Saturday nights even preempting a scheduled show.

I also think it is encored on one of the multi channels.

Although you wouldn’t know. 10 hardly acknowledge their multis on the main channel. Seem to never be promoted in any way.

The Hundred with ANDY LEE.

Did Nine think the name of the host would drag in viewers?

Isn’t this show an Andy Lee creation?

Either way, Andy Lee must take responsibility for the success/failure of this show.

7 has work to do here but I’m not sure what the answer is! They can’t travel interstate even to focus on those cities.
I’m presuming Sunrise is still way ahead of Today when regionals are added in.

Thats so nice to hear. What a great show!!!

I think with a big promo push and some smart scheduling from 10 this could grow

They should do a few replays across Peach, Bold and a special episode somewhere else during the week on 10 for extra sampling
