Without a reality tent pole, 10 was down from 2.5 from the previous week. That saw Nine and SBS gain audience while Seven and ABC were steady. It was one of Nine’s best Tuesday shares since Easter while 10’s share was its second lowest for a Tuesday this year.

In the usual pattern, Nine won the three east coast markets with Seven winning Adelaide and Perth.

The Block saw its highest Tuesday audience for this season while Plate of Origin was up from last week as well.

Body Hack managed 345,000 fourth in its timeslot. That compares to the previous season’s premier that had 281,000. However, it was number two entertainment show across the demographics.

Anh was up a bit while Hallifax maintained its audience.

Body Hack did well in the younger demos but failed miserably in TP which explains the low audience shares.

10 News First Adelaide drops even lower…must be there lowest figure in ages (23k)?

Some of the audience from The Masked Singer watching Plate of Origin?

I correctly predicted yesterday that Plate of Origin would outrate Body Hack given the latter rated so poorly last year. Last night’s Body Hack season premiere had more viewers than every episode of season 3.

Seems many viewer’s went to the multi-channels too, with pretty much all commercials doing well

Adelaide viewers are thinking they are getting Melbourne news.

Body hack is an 8:30 show it cannot anchor a night.

In Adelaide Nine’s afternoon news (at 5pm) beat 10’s 5pm news. The margin was a few thousand. Compared to the previous week, 10 news was down 6,000, Nine news 5pm was up 2,000. The biggest winner was The Chase that was up 6,000 at 5pm and up 11,000 at 5.30.

10 Seem really invested in making Bodyhack. they must be making some international $$$ from it.
I guess holding up better than FF and it at least is New and non-reality.
TBBT Not showing in demos yet for Peach, maybe Thursday and Friday will be it’s strong nights.
Home and Away really taking a hit from POO last couple of weeks under the 600k and big drop from news. With Seven shunting it on Thursdays in some states doesn’t help.

Multichannel in the demos - ignore 7Two and 9Gem as they don’t even make single figures.

In 25-54 7Mate was number one, 10 Peach was a close 2nd with 9Go and 7Flix equal third.

In 16-39 10 Peach was number one clear of 7Flix 2nd and 7Mate 3rd (all three outrated SBS’s main channel).

Good and so it should. Viacom needed to be sent a message; how you can just be entertainment based in this country is stupid.

We aren’t the UK - 9% share for a commercial change on a Tuesday; weak as.

Yeah, those 10 News First ratings aren’t great.

With Nine beating Ten at 5pm in Adelaide, you wonder if it might be a good idea for Nine to extend the concept to all five metro markets. Sure, Hot Seat is slightly outrating The Chase Australia on the East Coast (particularly in Sydney & South East Queensland) but it’s a relatively thin margin so even a trial period over Summer would be good.

I was surprised to see it at 7.30pm. It should have been at 8.30pm but Ten don’t seem to have much else.

Maybe Seven shouldn’t have scheduled the Semi Final and Grand Final of Plate of Origin together next Tuesday.

I’d say no. You would be handing the 4pm and 5pm timeslots to Seven.

What Nine did is Adelaide was an experiment, but also had an element of waving the while flag, saying they couldn’t compete against Seven news at 4pm.

While Nine might have gained a few thousand viewers from 10 in Adelaide at 5pm , Seven is the bigger competition.

In Adelaide, The Chase at 5.30pm even outrated The Block and the 5pm segment ranked way ahead of Nine News.

With Hot Seat - it is relegated to ranking in just 52nd place.

So If Nine moved their afternoon news to 5pm - I’d expect The Chase and Seven’s afternoon news to be major beneficiaries.

Interesting stats. So without 7mate and 7flix, Seven’s network key demos would be even worse

NCIS on 10Bold beat NCIS on 10 by a considerable margin.

NCIS was at 7.30 on 10Bold and 9:45 on 10

Nevertheless, an unusual result.

Not really. The weekend does be the same when NCIS airs late. The big issue is when these shows go head to head like SVU did
